Well, that was the point I was unsure about it, because, if that is the case, how did they know that those two beat up Nina, while Corey and Kelly were with Seb? So, even if they pleaded guilty to beating up Nina, how do the police, i.e. Supercop Craig, know that they weren't involved with Seb's murder?

The lawyer doesn't have to believe Corey, she only has to do the job she is paid for.

Privately she might think Corey is pond slime but she's been hired to defend him and will do so (sticking it to Imran seems to just be a bonus)

I realise this is far from the biggest talking point about tonight's episodes, but Abi left a note for Kev saying she had gone out for a walk to clear her head.

This is an oft repeated line in all soaps - "going for a walk to clear my head." Do people really do that? Does anyone actually go out for a walk to clear their head?

Yes...

It's often a thing that is done for people with depression or other mental issues. Sometimes just taking a walk can help, getting out, getting some fresh air or whatever.

If you were Kelly would you really really want your mother giving evidence, unless you wanted to demonstrate that you never had a chance in life ?
