Marlon has been a cartoon character for a while now. I think this is a danger for actors playing a soap character. Because they only play the one role for years and years, over time the character and mannerisms become slightly exaggerated a little bit at a time, perhaps even unnoticed, until they end up like Marlon as a caricature. I am sure if we look back, Marlon used to be much more "normal".

Liv seems to have been able to give up booze very easily, no craving for a drink, no sweating, no headaches or nausea, no DTs. A couple of days ago she drank a bottle and a half of vodka and passed out, and regularly seemed to drink a bottle or more a day. Yet here she is looking reasonably bright eyed and bushy tailed. It is no wonder she was not worried about her drinking if she knew she could give it up so easily. I never found her drinking to be very realistic, the amount she was putting away, she should be dead by now.

So now we know that Cathy has been trolling April, and maybe Heath was too. If a story is meant to be a mystery, they really should make it less obvious, it has been obvious for a while now that it was Cathy.

He was quite a horrible character when the Dingles first were introduced but then changed his ways .. I agree, he is OTT lately, hope he stops that again sooner rather than later

Being a horrible character is "normal", we need some "baddies" to boo. As you say he is OTT lately, with the constant gurning and exaggerated hand and body movements, that's what annoys me now. Bob is also a bit OTT but I think he was always a bit like that. One OTT character in the show is enough.

Marlon is broke because he bought half the pub while still paying the mortgage on the house where none of his tenants bother to pay him.
