I totally agree. When I started watching again last year, I was so hoping that that annoying little bug had left the show (along with Gail & Sarah)! But no such luck.

I liked the Evelyn and Fiz scenes, how are Weathy County going to manage without Tommy O?

I thought Steve and Tim at the Bailey's door like a couple of awestruck kids was pathetic.

Indeed. As Tommy O was some sort of superstar and James is his replacement, I guess he must be earning mega millions now. No doubt he will move the family to leafy Cheshire and buy a Ferrari (or some such).

Tommy O turned down transfers to Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool to stay in non league football with Weatherfield. He loved being a big fish in a small pond

I'm in the US & we are about 12 days behind (I wait until Sunday & watch 6 episodes). The last episode was from June 20 (Nick & Sam are shot at). Anyway one of the episodes from the week was Nina running into Cory at a hotel bar, he was with two men, one was named Tommy. Is that the Tommy you are referencing in your post?
