Following on from the posts in the previous week's thread, this is a Digital Spy article with the new "upcoming death mystery story" promo video. Yes, even though the trailer & recent Aust pace episodes suggest it could be Mac, surely the body is going to be Susie, & as kaz21 mentions, you would also think that Stephen (who has been 'helping' Leah & John find Susie) will somehow be involved!

Home and Away narrows down its death mystery in new trailer
Which character's body is going to be discovered?

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/hom...mystery-clues/

Home and Away spoilers follow for Australian and UK viewers.

Home and Away has provided another big clue in its upcoming death mystery story, with a brand new trailer for the soap narrowing down the list of characters who could be about to lose their life.

It was reported yesterday (June 7) that one of four Summer Bay residents was going to be found dead in the sea, with Leah Patterson-Baker (Ada Nicodemou), Justin Morgan (James Stewart), Mackenzie Booth (Emily Weir) and Susie McAllister (Bridie Carter) all in danger.

However, this new trailer, which you can watch above, appears to have taken Justin off the list of potentially doomed characters, as it confirms that the deceased is a woman.

Justin can also be seen being arrested and locked up in the new clip, which appears to further rule out the possibility of it being his body that's discovered.

That leaves Leah, Mac and Susie as the remaining potential victims and, going by this trailer, it's clear that there's a lot of worry for Mac in particular following her downward spiral in recent weeks.

After splitting from her ex-boyfriend Ari Parata and losing their baby in a devastating turn of events, Mac has been on a path of self-destruction as she struggles with her grief, including turning to alcohol and kissing her friend Ziggy's partner Tane.

Dean Thompson (Patrick O'Connor) is deeply worried about his sister Mac in the new trailer, and is seen reporting her disappearance to the police before desperately trying to get some answers.

But is it really Mac's body that the police pull out from the water?

Meanwhile, Susie recently fled Summer Bay having conned Leah and Justin out of their life savings. Leah has now dedicated herself to tracking Susie down, but if Leah catches up with Susie, could the consequences be deadly?

Home and Away boss Lucy Addario has promised that fans can expect a "wild ride" from this storyline as the discovery of the body will "send shockwaves" among the Summer Bay community.

Who will lose their life, and what will the consequences be?

UK viewers will be able to see these scenes on Channel 5 in July, while they will air in Australia on Channel 7 over the coming days.

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 (Australia). Selected classic episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video in the UK.

Yes, there has been photos of both Mac & Leah filming quite recently (including Mac with the new Doc), & now the new spoilers for Wed 16 June basically confirm it - it has to be Susie.

Home and Away ? who dies and what happens next?
Here's the lowdown on the show's new story.

    https://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/hom...ies-june-2021/

Major Home and Away spoilers follow for UK and Australian viewers.

It's the Home and Away mystery that has got everybody talking ? which Summer Bay character is about to be killed off?

Show bosses sparked a grisly guessing game at the start of this week by announcing that a body would soon be found in the Bay.

The shock storyline, which begins on screen in Australia next week, has been tipped to cause major repercussions in the weeks ahead.

Here's a quick guide to everything we know about the story so far.

When and where is the body found?

Upcoming scenes in Summer Bay see two fishermen who are out in the water spot the mystery body in the sea. They shout to shore to raise the alarm about the tragic discovery.

These scenes are expected to air in Monday night's episode in Australia (June 14), so fans Down Under don't have long to wait to see the story begin.

Unfortunately, Home and Away's UK broadcasts are falling further behind the Australian airings at the moment. Channel 7 has aired a number of six-episode weeks recently, while Channel 5 only ever shows five episodes per week.

This means that UK fans will have to wait until Friday, July 23 to see the storyline kick off on Channel 5.

    Who dies?

The big question. When the storyline was first announced in Aussie mag TV Week, a shortlist of four characters was given: Leah Patterson-Baker, Justin Morgan, Mackenzie Booth and Susie McAllister.

Home and Away's official trailer for the storyline later appeared to rule out Justin, as new footage showed Ryder telling Dean that a woman's body had been found.

The sneak peek footage also seemingly showed that Leah isn't the victim either, as she's visible on the shore when the fishermen raise the alarm about the upsetting discovery.

Mac has been heavily pushed as a possibility, as she has been on a downward spiral on Australian screens for several weeks now.

This week's episodes on Channel 7 saw Mac humiliate herself by gatecrashing Nikau Parata's modelling party, getting drunk and arguing with the guests.

Mac later regretted her behaviour when a video of her antics went viral and she was horrified by the footage of how she'd behaved. She confided in Dean that she didn't see a way forward for herself after losing everything and alienating everyone close to her.

The next morning, Mac had disappeared and left all of her belongings behind ? including her mobile phone ? leaving Dean worried that something wasn't right.

However, Mac has already been named in short teaser spoilers for the aftermath of the body discovery, which seems to rule her out too.

Superfans will also be aware that Emily Weir, who plays Mac, was spotted filming on location for Home and Away last month.

Paparazzi photographers caught Emily shooting scenes with new cast member Harley Bonner, who's yet to make his first appearance as Dr Logan Bennett.

Unless Emily is playing Mac's twin (and that's not as unlikely as it sounds in Summer Bay), it seems that the smart money could be on Susie.

Susie hasn't been seen in the Bay since she cruelly conned Leah, Justin and John earlier this year.

The schemer left plenty of enemies behind in the area, so it'd certainly be a juicy storyline if her body is now found in suspicious circumstances.

Could Leah, John or Justin be responsible? Might former foe Irene have taken revenge after Susie attacked her? Or has shifty newcomer Stephen decided to take action after his own traumatic history with Susie? The possibilities would be endless.

    What happens next?

Home and Away's mystery death is expected to spark some gripping episodes, as an official investigation begins.

Show producer Lucy Addario recently told TV Week that fans are in for a "wild ride" as all the consequences play out.

In Tuesday night's Australian episode (June 15) ? which airs in the UK on July 26 ? the Summer Bay locals are still waiting to hear the identity of the person who has lost their life. Dean and Ryder are both terrified that it could be Mac.

Beyond that, suspicion becomes rife as speculation grows over exactly what has happened and who might be responsible.

Home and Away fans will also see a new cop introduced to the Bay to take charge of the investigation.

Nicholas Cartwright has been cast as senior constable Cash Newman, who'll be shaking up life in the Bay as part of this storyline. The show's new cast member previously served in the Australian army for six years.

Nicholas recently told Perth Now: I think it really helps having a military background and understanding of rank and things like that to go into a position like this.

"You can kind of feel a little lost when you get out of the defence force, and no-one wants to do a normal job. So I thought, 'What's the craziest thing I can do?' and decided to go to the [National Institute of Dramatic Art]."

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.15pm and 6pm on Channel 5 (UK) and Mondays to Thursdays at 7pm on Channel 7 (Australia). Selected classic episodes are available via Amazon Prime Video in the UK.

Home And Away's shock death sends shock waves through Summer Bay as the body is identified
And police launch their probe into what happened.

    https://www.nowtolove.com.au/celebri...-is-dead-68021

This is the image that will have every Home And Away fan perched nervously on their edge of the lounges.

We learn the identity of the body in the Bay ? and the ensuing police investigation will rock the beachside community to its core.

As TV WEEK revealed last week, the body is a well-known identity and one of four people ? Leah (Ada Nicodemou), Justin (James Stewart), Susie (Bridie Carter) or Mac (Emily Weir).

We pick things up at the hospital, where Stephen (Bren Foster) is being patched up after he was viciously attack by drug-addled Justin.

"Justin has become so unpredictable," James, 45, says.

All Justin can think about is his next painkiller fix and, as Jimmy says, "it doesn't matter if the drugs come from a doctor or a dealer".

His path to self-destruction worries sister, Tori (Penny McNamee) who faces the town's new police officer Cash Newman (Nicholas Cartwright).

Justin's terrified partner Leah has been pre-occupied tracking fraudster Susie (Bridie Carter) to focus on Justin's addiction. But there is no denying the truth ? either Leah or Susie could be in the body bag.

Meanwhile, Dean (Patrick O'Connor) is desperate to find half-sister Mac (Emily Weir), who went missing after watching a video of herself playing the drunken fool at a party.

"Mac was completely horrified at the way she was acting," Emily, 29, says.

"She was in a lot of emotional pain and when that pain went unresolved it led her to push away and hurt the people she loved."

The residents of the Bay huddle around a cordoned-off police area as police retrieve the body.

Dean rushes down to the police tape ? but is stopped dead in his tracks by Cash. Could Mac be dead?

As the town reels once the body is identified, newcomer Cash must start asking the tough questions?
