Charles really isn't the brightest vicar in the pulpit, he knows Mason and Danny, from his outreach project, were in the vicinity, but it never occurs to him they may be involved in the drugs in the pub incident. Or is this just another example of him seeing the best in people. Why on earth did Sarah put the pills in Ethan's coat in the first place, she was already on her way out of the pub, and could have hidden them somewhere else, in a place that Danny or Mason could have retreived them later. Is this just an excuse for Debbie to come back to the village?

Emmerdale reveals the full details of Harriet Finch's mistake over Lucas tonight (January 15).

Harriet (Katherine Dow Blyton) begged Dawn Taylor's young son to keep quiet last night after a mysterious incident when she picked him up.

In Friday's episode, Harriet continues her efforts to carry on as normal and keep Dawn in the dark, hoping there will be no repercussions from what happened.

Sadly for her, it's not long before Lucas's social worker Eloise turns up in the village to expose her careless behaviour.

Dawn (Olivia Bromley) is horrified as Eloise explains that Harriet lost Lucas in a shop for an extended period of time the day before.

The worrying incident was witnessed by Lucas's former foster mum, who has now shared her concerns with the authorities as Harriet was drunk and out of control.

Dawn and Harriet both hope they'll escape with a warning, but the mistake is being taken very seriously and the entire viability of their current custody arrangement is being called into question by Eloise.

The worst happens for Dawn when the police arrive and Lucas is taken away, leaving the young child with an uncertain future.

Can Harriet make amends for her actions and how is Will going to react when he finds out what has happened?

I am really glad they did not drag out the when will Debbie and Priya find out about each other story line much longer. What I find hard to accept is why either of them was with Al in the first place. Al seems such a cold character, and I saw no evidence of chemistry between him and either Debbie or Priya.
