I'm having great difficulty in understanding the Covid-19 regime in Corrie. The wearing of masks seems not only optional but downright perverse as people who do wear them seem to wear them outside, then take them off when they enter shops and the pub.

Gary did wear one when he collected his hot pots, but not when he ordered them, altho' he did wait until he was inside the pub before putting it on. I am wondering if they just leave it up to the actors as to whether or not they wear them, or if this is just poor direction. Puzzling indeed.

I think the determining factor is whether or not the actors are due to leave or not. So I think Gary will escape comeuppence, at least for a while. Scott I think will be going quite soon maybe even with Johnny also Mick. Ray I think will be around for a while yet, as I think will Todd, I don't think they would recast him if he was not going to be here for a while. Geoff I really don't know, he should get found out as a villian but I am not sure if they can pin anything illegal on him.
