Does Brenda live in the same building as the cafe? Nicola paid ?20,000 for 20% of the cafe, is this just the business or does it include 20% of the buidling? If it does not include the building I cannot see that the cafe is worth ?100,000.
I don't think that the cafe has anything to worry about from competition from The HOP, surely there custom will come from visitors who probably would not go to the cafe anyway. Cafe customers would be residents and visitors passing through the village. Not sure how far out of the village is The HOP is, but surely far enough that people living in the village are not going to go there instead of the cafe? Already The HOP eatery seems to be a shambles, the management team have little experience of running a restaurant and Victoria seems to have only ordered enough ingredients for one batch of samosas, what was going to happen on Day 2.
