I'm sorry, but I just find the Whitney story so ridiculous and unrealistic that I can't watch it through sheer irritation. I've never been in prison myself, but I can't believe that no-one has done anything about the state she is in. She would be surrounded by doctors and psychiatrists in the Prison Hospital by now. Complete nonsense.

Exactly what I said. Completely unrealistic.

This could easily be posted in any of the other soap topics but I'll just say it here.
One of the problems with filming 6-8 weeks in advance of broadcast is that what's happening sometimes takes on a bit of an unrealistic air. Not one person so far has mentioned the Coronavirus pandemic, when for most of us it is now the main topic of conversation with concerns about the virus itself, the hoarding, the measures taken by the Government etc. etc. It would affect so many people in EE and Corrie and the rest, but not a word.
And it will be difficult to fit it in anyway, because even if they did start writing stuff in now, by the time of the broadcast things would have moved on and no-one knows where we will be in 6-8 weeks time. So, should they just ignore it altogether?

Excellent scenes with Jessie and Shona. The Chantelle and Gray scenes were hard to watch. It reminds me a little bit of Trevor and little Mo.
The episode was a tough hard hititng one, but very well played.
Small Village Big Drama
As I was saying above about the unrealistic nature of Eastenders now with no reference to the coronavirus. Mitch was able to buy toilet rolls in tonight's episode.
