I'm hoping someone can explain the stolen money storyline to me because I think I must have missed something somewhere.
As far as I recall, Sonia was desperate to raise £10,000 to pay off Martin's road accident victim. She got Dot to give her a signed blank cheque, which presumably she filled in for £10,000 and cashed. Why can't the bank tell from the cheque who cashed it? And why are they referring to it as a "cyber crime"? If Sonia did somehow manage to fleece Dot on line, what was the point of the cheque episode?
I am hoping someone can tell me what happened. Thank you.
