When a call comes in, Iain recognises it as Alicia's house and leaves. After picking up Alicia, the ambulance travels the streets of Holby, then a person falls from a bridge.
Iain swerves to avoid, but the ambulance tips over and he causes a major crash. Iain breaks free of the wreckage and sees a body in the road.
Meanwhile, divorcee Jodie and best friend Kelly are driving to a party. Jodie is worried about what their friends will think of her break-up – she's 30 and divorced. Kelly gets a text from Jodie's brother, but brushes it off as nothing. As Iain's ambulance swerves to avoid Mia's body and creates a crash, Kelly's car manages to brake, but then gets hit by a van.
Elsewhere, while down an alley in Holby, hard man Jerome chases Shelly down a dead end. When Iain finds Jerome and Shelly involved in the crash, Shelly is cuffed in the back of Jerome's car.
