The Charity Ryan and Irene scenes were very good, good chemistry between Ryan and Charity, I cannot wait for him to meet the rest of the Dingles

I am finding Vanessa a tad too much, too pushy and where is her own son Johnny?

The actor playing Ryan .. a huge talent..can see him slotting in well.

Bit annoying that the writers are padding out the story line, of course he will be more involved but thats for next time children.

Wrongly expected Irene to be a right old crone , not the case. Would hope there will be a lot of air time for her and Ryan. Fingers crossed for Charity to get her relationship with Ryan and Irene up and running. Can't see D.I.Bales letting things rest when he gets wind of Ryan being traced.

Diane Doug bashing.. I mean the mans a bore but he did do everything by the book when the place became unsafe, its not his fault you where too busy undermining him, cutting him out of the second inspectors report where you and Eric stitched him up, you both werent even there at the time. The skinny is, Gerry knew it was unsafe, he had no keys so why was he in there?

Emmerdale really should avoid storylines involving anything to do with building construction, as they really do not do the necessary research. Plaster is a decorative non loadbearing material, no way removing it would cause the wall to fall down. You could remove the plaster from every room in the house and it would not fall down. Indeed people who like the bare brick look do this without any problem. If it was as strong as seems to be suggested here they would build houses with it without the need for bricks or building blocks. What the police should be asking was how the acrow, or as Doug called it 'support pole' became dislodged, if they conclude that Gerry did it then it was an unfortunate accident and not Doug's fault. Also I recall that Lauchlan was sick outside the back door to the garden, surely the police would find this. If saliva can be tested for DNA then I would think vomit can, or in their usual inefficient way did they assume this was from someone on their way home from the pub.
