According to Eastieoaks' Darren, we are going to get a really cute Aaron and Robert scene next Friday. It's short but very sweet. About time too.

looking forward to cute scenes Friday cos however short we haven't had anything like that for a while

I believe its the british oscars there tonite but presumably the public don't get to vote but its it public and I was looking around to see if anyone knows who is even in the running?

do the cast go to it at all?

As far as I understand things, there is no public vote for tonight's BAFTA awards.

I may be wrong but I think there’s only actually the programme that gets nominated, none of the actors and I think Eddys right that there’s no public vote.

Maybe some of the cast go but not sure.

Yes, it's just the programme that is nominated for a soapy drama category (not sure what BAFTA officially call it). There is nothing to stop an actor, actress or member of the production team to go and win in another category. However, they will be up against anyone from anywhere else involved on British TV and nominated for a particular category.
