So instead of human toilet references tonight we get dog poo talk!

Are those PD scenes just to show that she really can’t remember the simplest thing. I know it’s cruel but she’s actually coming across as a bit of a joke really rather than a brain injury victim.

What is Joe doing he would have been much better off with Priya rather than dumping her at the drop of o hat just because sour face showed up. This is becoming even more boring.

Nice scenes with Liv, Chas & Aaron. Robert must have been working from home looking after the boy. Aaron in a suit!
think ed writers have some strange obsession

priya had to be dumped by joe so tracey can 'catch' her with david

and as for Rebecca . . . now Don are you sure you are not feeling so sorry for her poor thing as I'm sure that's what we are meant to do

So that’s a good work practice? Leave a new barmaid who is suffering from memory lapses to run a pub on her own!

Over at Digital Spy, penguinperson described tonight's episode as being the result of infantile writing. I think that aptly describes it. There was far too much childish and simplistic nonsense going on.

I am afraid some of the stories are dragging on, I would say it lacked any pace this evening.

There's some good Robert and Rebecca scenes coming up as well with Aaron being pre occupied with his problems.

Next weeks Emmerdale spoilers from today's Mirror newspaper.

    ■ After the ketamine spiking, Vanessa is filled with dread when she hears that she will be investigated by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

    ■ Debbie is suspicious when Graham says Joe wants to rent Jacob’s Fold to her.

    ■ Aaron urges Liv to tell her mum about the court case.

    ■ Ross is fuming that his attacker is pleading not guilty. When the prospective buyers of Butlers Farm return he fronts up to Quinn.

    ■ Tracy tells David she knows he copped off with his ex-girlfriend.

    ■ Debbie is shocked when Graham returns, and Daz and Bernice argue about Gabby.

    ■ Pete tells Rhona he’s pleased Ross has left the house to join him at The Woolpack, but Ross finds himself the victim of a cruel prank.

    ■ Vanessa is touched when Charity visits the surgery and offers to support her before the inspection tomorrow.

    ■ Jimmy worries about his high blood pressure as stress takes its toll at work.

    ■ Pete is at his wit’s end when Ross goes missing, and finds pills and an empty whisky bottle in his brother’s abandoned car.

    ■ On the day of the inspection, Vanessa panics after a snake escapes in the surgery.

    ■ Graham seems increasingly wary of Joe’s underhand schemes, but the sneaky tycoon explains his plan to him.

    ■ Jimmy and Robert continue their collaboration to get back at Joe.

‘Jimmy is deeply suspicious of Joe in every way – and rightly so because he’s a wrong ’un,’ says Nick Miles, who plays Jimmy. ‘He wants to know what he’s up to.’

    ■ Laurel tries to convince Harriet she’s moved on from her recent problems.
