I hope that getting back together next year comment is a stretch of the truth and really Danny and Ryan are pulling a fast one there. Stretching this out until next year may be just a bit too much.

I've reread the article and as usual I think I may have jumped to conclusions I'm hoping that what Danny meant was that he hoped there was more to come of the chemistry they have working together not specifically that they wouldn't be reuniting till next year. Is this other people's take on this too?

Ryan Hawley (Robert Sugden) and Charlotte Bellamy (Laurel Thomas) were named Best Soap Actor and Actress by TV Choice.

Sally Dexter (Faith) named as the Best Newcomer and Emmerdale wins Best Soap.

so pleased for ryan

and clearly danny is too

no i do not think that ryan is leaving at all

happy for charlotte

and also sally cos its nice for her to win something and i like faith

whatever the actors say at those awards about future sls is just what ed tell them to say and sometimes probably hard for them

anyway we know its all going to work out just grand soon so we'll hang on in there till the wedding

So happy for Ryan - he really deserved to win the award. Let's hope it carries on with the next award ceremony and it's great to see Danny supporting him and being so 'proud of him really'.

We don't know how these new stories will play out but I'm feeling quite positive as Ryan & Danny did seem a lot more upbeat in their interview.
