Adam was a knob and so was Rebecca, especially her. Fancy not going away when Robert was reying to mend the damage that she caused (Yes, she caussed the damage because Robert was drunk and she was sober).

The one good thing about that scene was that Aaron didn't look at all pleased when he walked into the Woolpack and saw Adam hurting Robert.
I suppose Robert was just so excited to see Aaron back he couldn't wait to talk to him. He probably thought he'd see him alone at the flat first - but no it had to be plot like everything else in front of everyone in the pub.

If she'd had any shred of decency she would have made a discreet exit when he came in but again 'plot'.

Yeah, he definetly wasn't pleased with Adam - don't think he'll allow him to hit him again, regardless of them being split up.

They both looked so heartbroken at the end - neither of them really wants this break up.

Remind me again - WHAT IS GOOD ABOUT THIS STORYLINE?

Just watched tonights episode, I thought the Robron stuff was OK.

Adam being an idiot, Vic actually slightly more supportive although offering a bed at hers when PD is there not very wise.

heartbroken and lost, being strong/firm/hard, all the things he needs to be to get well especially in the pub with everyone around, in The Mill he is clearly bothered as when said I am so sorry said he was as well.

Solution - get rid of PD and I think they would be back together - that is the problem, little glance to HER said it all.

Well to be blunt this storyline is ten shades of SH*T but we we are stuck with it, its not entertaining to watch and it is poorly written and lacks any substance, ED and IM need to get this horrid situation over with quickly its not even innovative or interesting.

I think that the Aaron and Robert scenes were excellent and very realistic given where this awful storyline left them 2 weeks ago. Their feelings and reactions were in keeping with their characters and true to life.

Aaron's and Robert's 2 scenes would have been even more powerful without the presence of the comedy characters in tonight's episode. Adam, Rebecca and Victoria's presence in that episode just spoilt tonight's Robron scenes and took attention away from what mattered.

And yes, we saw enough tonight from both of them to remain very positive about Robron's future, despite our trust issues with the Emmerdale producer. Aaron and Robert are still in love.

    Morning everyone

I do find the car crash bit rather distasteful considering what has gone on in the real world recently - surprised they did that to be honest.

I have to say that this latest stuff in these articles has just about pushed me away from ED completely - I can see that the next few months is going to be watching on catch up rather than live.

The positive thing is though that at least there's more of the boys on screen

I know I keep going down this route and yes I know it's only a programme but I get the distinct feeling (maybe I'm completely wrong) the more articles that come out that IM actually dislikes Robron because they are so popular and are not one of his creations (unlike PD) and he has felt the need to completely destroy them so that he can rebuild them (if he's going to - I am actually beginning too doubt that now) the way that he wants them so that people will remember his creation and part of putting them together and not the way they were created by KO. What I don't think he has considered is that if he breaks them up too far and takes too long at putting them back together he is actually going to fail, because people will just have given up and not care anymore. He's already driven people away with the ONS and the pregnancy, anything else is going to be a step too far.

I know everything I've said is just complete 'tosh' but I honestly feel that IM is not qualified for the job as EP of an iconic programme such as Emmerdale and he (and his pet project PD) should be got rid of asap. Have TPTB not picked up on the fact that a lot of the comments about ED on social media are now mostly negative about the way the show is produced - does that not point the finger at someone in particular?

I'm really sorry for this rant folks and I know there's nothing you lovely people can do about it - I just needed to get this off my chest.

I do really think it's time to take a step back from the programme for a while when it is getting to the point that you don't really enjoy it too much anymore.

But saying that- I don't want to lose contact with you guys as I enjoy seeing your take on things.

Sorry again folks for the long ramble rant.

hi Don i argee but dont give up on Robron they will come back from this you see Rob is only getting back at the whites now he`s lost without his love of his life and thats Aaron`s hes hurting and is getting his own back on them keep the faith it will all work in the end you see ED+IM do know how the fanbase is for Robron and only last week they admitted it so and i think hold on in there our Maxine will get them back on track and will get them back on track and build them up again and we have that proper Wedding to look forward to so it must all work out you see and come to think it Robert came back with the whites so in a way its fitting that Rob will be there for there down fall and when they are gone and PD to and our Robron can take over HF and wouldnt be great if Rob moves in there first and then we can see the Wedding at HF that be great btw all hail Robron the love they have for each other will prove this and wouldnt it great if Aaron realise he needs Rob and he will get through to Him AND SORT him out like they said they are rubbish without each other
