It's really annoying. I wish Emmerdale would stop suggesting that bisexuals just have to cheat and always with the opposite sex. Being bisexual does not nmean that you have to be a cheat, it just means that you can form a relationship with people of either sex.

A bisexual is just like a heterosexual and a homosexual, there are a few that cheat but most do not.

You see ED can give people back stories that make you change your mind about them - at the start of tonight Lydia was really annoying but then the story about her late husband and by the end you feel sorry for her. Or is that just me?

I feel exactly the same as you. Lydia's back story was very moving and suddenly she made sense. I like her.

Did not see today's episode yet but affairs is all that scriptwriters can think of ..no justification needed I suppose because that is all the population of UK is doing .. cheating on their partners, even if newly wed or if you you are on the way to the registry office ....big SIGH

It makes you wonder if IM has two containers - one with male names in and the other with female names in and then just pulls one name out of each at random and puts them together for an affair with no back story or build up needed.

Can't he bring things to a suitable conclusion with ongoing stories before he starts something else?

Totally agree. It's become quite bad these last few weeks and it is somewhat spoiling Emmerdale.
