Monday (1)

Sarah heads out, leaving Bethany to look after Harry. Bethany is upset to think she may never see him again, but she continues to pack her things and only panics when she can't find her passport.

Soon afterwards, Mary calls at Number 8 and is suspicious when she spots Bethany's hold-all. Bethany admits that she's going to start a new life with Nathan. Mary bars her way and, likening the situation to her own rape, begs Bethany to see that the things Nathan makes her do are wrong.

Adamant that Nathan loves her, Bethany bundles Mary out of the way. As she waits on the street for Nathan, Mary pleads with her to reconsider. When Nathan pulls up, will Bethany get into his car?

Meanwhile, Drew drops Summer off with Billy and Todd, explaining that he hasn't told Summer about their plan yet as he'd like her to get to know them first. As they chat over lunch, will Todd find himself warming to Summer?

Elsewhere, Kevin quizzes Rana about Anna's medication and is interested to find out that a low libido is one of the side effects.

Also, Daniel thanks Adam for being there for him and promises that he's going to get some therapy.

Finally, Tyrone is jealous of Fiz's friendship with antiques specialist Kim, especially when he suggests Fiz look at doing the antiques course herself.


Monday (2)

Mary bursts into The Rovers and reveals to Sarah that Bethany has run off with Nathan. As Nathan explains to Bethany that he's driving to Hull to set sail for Belgium, Bethany is forced to confess that she has no passport.

As Nathan phones a contact to sort a new passport, Bethany is alarmed to discover that she's going to Belgium alone while he lays low from the police for a while longer. When Bethany quizzes him about his plans for her, Nathan snaps at her to stop asking questions.

Sarah is frantic with worry despite the police's assurances that they will do all they can to trace Nathan, who has broken his bail conditions. But will they find Bethany before it's too late?

Meanwhile, when Summer admits to Billy and Todd that she knows Drew is lining them up to be her guardians, they're moved by her bravery. However, when Summer hears Todd joking about sending her to a kids' home – despite the fact that he's actually come round to the idea – she's deeply hurt.

Before they can address Summer's sudden coolness towards them, news arrives that Drew has been rushed into hospital, where he has died. Summer dissolves into tears as Drew's mother arrives.

Elsewhere, Kevin researches Anna's medication online and prints off some information. At the same time, Anna catches Faye, Phelan and Nicola arriving back with Seb from prison. As Faye and Seb steal a kiss, Anna storms over and rants at Faye for disobeying her. How will Faye respond?

Also, Tyrone accuses Kim of having designs on Fiz.


Wednesday

As the police hunt for Bethany, Neil does his bit to ensure the Platts are kept in the dark.

Will Bethany be found before Nathan smuggles her out of the country?

Meanwhile, Geraldine calls at Number 11 and informs Billy and Todd they are not welcome at Drew's funeral and must never contact Summer again. Billy is devastated.

Elsewhere, when Anna spots Faye laughing and joking with Phelan, she suggests to Gary that the time has come to tell Faye the full truth about him. Gary implores Anna to see that telling Faye will do no good. Despairing, will Anna agree?

Also today, when Zeedan finds Brian in a compromising position at Number 6, Yasmeen tells Brian and Cathy it's high time they stopped hiding like children, pointing out that Roy will just have to deal with their relationship.


Friday (1)

Anna apologises to Kevin for being a nightmare lately and vows to make it up to him. However, when she finds a condom wrapper in the bin at Number 13 as Faye has initiated sex with Seb, Anna is on the warpath. Kevin tries to speak up for Faye, but Anna turns on him for his lack of support. As a result, Kevin storms out, while Tim hauls a frightened Seb into the cab office for a chat.

At the same time, Erica is gobsmacked to learn that Dev has forgotten her birthday and has planned a golf trip to Scotland. Livid, Erica orders Dev to go to Scotland, take his kids with him and leave her in peace.

When a miserable Kevin and Erica cross paths, Erica invites Kevin for a drink. Over a bottle of wine, Erica moans to Kevin about Dev's treatment of her. Kevin sympathises, but when Erica leans in for a kiss, will he respond?

Meanwhile, Aidan tells Maria that he's been sent a photo of them kissing, but admits that he doesn't know who took it. Maria urges him to come clean to Eva today. Aidan tries desperately to get Eva on her own in order to dump her.

Elsewhere, hearing that Roy is going out for the evening, Brian and Cathy plan to spend time together in the flat. But when Zeedan encounters Roy on the street, he decides it's time he knew the truth and sends him up to the flat to see Brian.


Friday (2)

Reminding Seb that Faye is only 15, a steely Tim threatens him with the police unless he finishes with her. Anna and Tim sit Faye down to talk, but she's heartbroken when a phone call from Seb interrupts, telling her that she's dumped. Tim is quietly satisfied.

At the same time, Erica instantly regrets her kiss with Kevin but he's relaxed, insisting it was a harmless mistake. Erica feels further guilty when she returns home to find Dev, Aadi and Asha throwing her an impromptu birthday party.

Later on, Anna is incensed to uncover Kevin's internet research into her medication. Anna accuses him of being obsessed with sex.

Meanwhile, Craig starts to fear that Neil is not the man he seems and is left troubled by his thoughts.

Elsewhere, Roy returns home to find that Brian has 'a girlfriend' stuck in the bathroom. Roy insists on helping, but when he spots Cathy's coat on the rack, the game is up. As a sheepish Cathy emerges from the bathroom, how will Roy react?

Also, Eva is baffled when Aidan nags her to come back to the flat to talk. Is he about to confess all about his affair with Maria?

So that's Daniel's breakdown and exile from the family done and dusted by end of episode two on Monday, then going by the spoilers for next week and after
I hope its something they go back to because people don't bounce back so quickly from the kind of behaviour we saw during BGT week.

Looking forward to seeing creep Aiden get his comeuppance and also the adoption with Billy and Todd. Looks like a good week.
