Having read through the bunch of spoilers etc that came out this morning, I'm sorry to say I won't be tuning in regularly much for the foreseeable future, until things improve or the EP changes.
I'm the same, why waste our time watching when there is nothing good to watch?

seeing as there was quite a few tweets about Ross tonight, i thought i'd give tonight's episode a watch (skipped most of it!).

Charity just had to get involved, didn't she!? Heaven help the program if Emma Atkins decides to leave!

It will be a bigger loss to Emmerdale than Michael imo. I think he'd either be offered parts on dramas or even another soap. Maybe Corrie with Kate Oates? Someone that actually appreciated him
the show would be mad to get rid of michael/ross, he is by far the best barton character

I quite enjoy the Ross and Charity scenes but yeah, it seems that she is always there when Ross is up to something.

I read an article which discussed the new male character... "Finally, it looks as though we are getting a new Cain in the shape of a sexy, brooding male".

That really annoyed me, Ross already fits the description and he's already firmly a fan favourite. Not many characters would get tens of thousands of people signings petitions when they supposedly die.

Also, I just read the spoilers for the next 2 weeks and Ross isn't in them yet again. This is the pattern, he gets a little scam, he appears in a few episodes and then he disappears for a few weeks. Such as a wasted actor and character.

I really don't get it, his first year in the show he got awarded best newcomer and he was already quite popular, then he had his big year in 2015 in which he won numerous awards and became the biggest character in the show IMO (even though some of the storylines weren't up to much). After that it was understandable that he would go into the background for the foreseeable but now it's been well over a year and a half and he's got absolutely nothing to do. It's like he's being punished for doing his job well.

    Anyway, rant over.

Debbie is only happy when Ross breaks the law when it benefits her. She really wound me up when she said that Ross deserves everything he gets. He's done pretty much everything he could to help Sarah even though she never even liked him. Debbie doesn't deserve Ross IMO.

I read somewhere that Debbie and Chrissie feud a little bit, I'd like that to be over Ross.

I can't stand her hypocrisy. She can't just play the sick child card to be able to do or say anything she wants. She even admitted that she can get Ross to do whatever she wants for her because he is in love with her. It's pathetic. Sarah's illness is also just being used as a plot device for Debbie to argue with someone and then make up with them the next day, so the plot goes absolutely nowhere. No way I'm sticking around to watch Ross/Debbie Part 2 with Rebecca's sprog (if it's Ross') thrown into the mix as well. It's a complete mess. I much prefer Ross and Charity, they get each other and are much more exciting to watch.

Ross and Charity are 2 of a kind, they're just brilliant. It's a pity that they've never had a serious scene in which one of them opens up the other, I'd quite like to see that.

They're probably too similar and sarcastic to work romantically, but they need more scenes together. Instead of having them do these pathetic scams every couple of months, they should do something big. Maybe go after home farm?
