Emmerdale have confirmed a winter return for Debbie Dingle as Charley Webb returns to the show in January as part of an explosive storyline. Fans last saw Debbie at the end of 2015 fleeing the village after discovering that Ross Barton shot Robert Sugden.
While Charley has been on maternity leave, a lot has happened including Cain splitting from Moira, Belle’s psychosis, Charity and Cain’s brief reunion and the father of her kids, Andy, going on the run, so goodness knows what Debbie will make of it all when she comes back.
However, she clearly has problems of her own as her return storyline sees her in a heap of trouble. Having spent the last year in France, she is now on the run – but who is Debbie running from? And how long will it be before Cain and Charity come to her rescue?

It will be another new bloke that she's running from, its so predictable. Hopefully they don't revisit the Debbie/Ross thing, I want to see him deal with his dads death, and continue to grow as a father and villain.

Debbie is back on the 24th and I read a spoiler that someone snatches her kids and demands a ransom to return them.
