i argee but i hope IM will keep SB away from Robron totally yeah im not why ED or ITV would let him anywhere near ED he ruined Ed when he was EP

Amazing episode tonight, a very clever and well thought through way of showing such a dreadful disease, it really showed the complete confusion and distress it causes not just to the family but the sufferer as well which is rarely shown for fear of misinterpreting it.

My father suffer from the disease and one thing that hit me tonight was Ashley's trouble with getting in to the church, steps and doors are big issues for dementia suffers it took me 20 minutes to get my Dad into and out of a restaurant he just didn't want to go through the door.

I loved how different actors played known characters but we got fleeting glances of the real person, superb ... I am also looking forward to Aaron/Laurel chat tomorrow,

Been out all evening have only just caught up with tonight's episode.
Very powerful and heartbreaking - my heart goes out to family and friends who have to cope with someone they love who suffers from that.
Brilliant performance by John tonight and the actors who played the parts of the regular characters were fantastic - you could tell straight away who they were supposed to be. Definetly award winning material. Well done ED.

    Hi all

I loved last night's Ashley ep. I got such a shock when I saw it was Aaron and I'm glad I didn't know in advance. Some things are better not spoiled. The actor playing Aaron was very good and I thought he had the mannerisms down to a tee.

Apologies for not being on much lately, been busy with work before the Xmas hols but I'll be posting more over the next few days. Can't wait to see the Danny/Charlotte stuff tonight. I'm impressed with IM's decision to mix character groups who don't normally have anything to do with each other.

It was a really moving ep last night and with replacing the regular ones with different actors it really showed what it must be like for sufferers and how they lose the faces of the people they know.
I saw there was an interview on line from IM and he was worried if people thought he had lost the plot with the way he did it but I think he made a brilliant job of it.
Did you notice that part of it was filmed in the original Emmerdale Village - I've been there.

Have missed you the last few days - thought you'd maybe gone off to be one of Santas Little Hepers!😀

Yeah I went to both Esholt and Otley last year. It was weird being in the old Woolpack.

No, I've got loads of marking to do before Xmas. You would think students would be taking time off but no such luck

I never saw any of the interiors just saw it from outside.
You poor thing having to do stuff like marking before Christmas - I thought Students would have been on hols by now until after the festive period.
The only job I've got to do is decide what to put in my suitcase for my couple of days away over Christmas. Hopefully I still be able to look in here though while I'm away.😀

It's the best job I've ever had. I get to work when I want and sit on my computer, marking... well in between posting on here and looking at Robron pics. I'm actually marking Dementia Care at the moment so it's very interesting
