The main things thats really confusing me is why asks Bex (lost the emoji sorry) to help with Birthday present it just doesn't make sense it will be fascinating to see this play out.

Something to do with her business plans. She'll magically have just the contacts and knowledge Robert needs to make Aaron's birthday extra special because plot has dictated it to be to make Aaron paranoid. Also because Aaron will see a nicer side to her tomorrow and let bygones be bygones so he can be jealous and insecure in secret.

The real question is WTF has happened to ruthless Robert who wouldn't let anyone blackmail him and try and split up his relationship?

I liked (Liv) chat with she made real sense in terms of using Gordon's money for good and for a secure future for them both and a home of their own, I appreciate thinks its tarnished but he could use it for a good thing for his family and future, it doesn't erase the past by any means.

Not overly bothered about in general, but it would be nice to have a bit of consistency and continuity in the story
