) shouldn't make a difference, although I'm sure it does no matter how hard people try to be unbiased.
What I think would make the most difference is how much bad publicity an actor brings to the show. Since there really hasn't been much in this case (celebrities caught on camera in compromising positions are ten-a-penny these days after all), I can't see there being any consequences for Shayne from Corrie.
