I can honestly see them going down the Ross/Charity route. Cain is bound to get back with Moira and Charity is chasing the old Cain who doesnt exist anymore. Ross is everything she is looking for plus it would cause a lot of drama with Debbie.

I think they're just throwing this in to add more drama for when Debbie returns which will be soon I believe. I prefer Ross with Debbie tbh.
I don't think Debbie/Ross could ever work again after this. It was never really true love anyway, just Debbie trying to escape her boring life and Ross getting one over on Pete. Donna will always be Ross' true love.

In regards to Ross, maybe at first but why would he stick with her after Pete and Debbie split up and got divorced?

Whilst Kate Oates was still in charge, the idea was for Ross to develop into a fatherly figure. That was meant to be the character development that I was hoping for. Sadly, when the new producer took over it, all went horribly wrong.

Michael has also explained that they are very passionate people who want what the other person has but what they have in their lives stops them. It's quite a tragic love story really which not a lot of people are understanding. However, I like it. "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" and all that.

SO how do you see the Ross/Debbie thing? What makes it a tragic love story?

Ross and Charity have a lot more chemistry than Charity and Cain and Ross and Debbie.

Maybe they are testing the waters to see how the viewers react to Ross and Charity. There have been snippets and seemed to be building then they broke Cain and Moira up which viewers aren't happy with for Charity to turn her attention to Cain.

I loved how Ross spoke about his son tonight. That is one development I have loved this year.

I actually really like Ross and Charity scenes. They are good together. Cain and Moira will get back together I'm pretty certain

Well Ross and Charity got a pretty good response on social media, most people seem to agree with us that they have great chemistry. I still think that Ross may be paired with someone different though in time.
