After last years amazing Inside Soap Award results. Michael Parr is rather neglected this year. Sad!

But it just echoes what I have been saying. Ross is now a "nothing character". He's rarely on screen and for the bits he is, they turn him into a joke.

I'm really sorry for Michael Parr. He is IMO the shows best actor that steals every scene he's in. He won the show tons of awards last year and this is how they award him and his character.

I have said this for the majority of the year.

They have done a complete u-turn on him this year which is really damaging him overall as a character, not progression.

Ross was introduced to be the next Cain, tough and hard. Loveable Rogue - Michael Parr called him to start with.

Then, last year, they turned him into a would-be killer. I can just about believe that under the circumstances, Ross was at his lowest so I do believe that writing.

However, this year he has become truely pathetic. What a hardman he is....
    - Scared of needles/injections
    - Scared of clowns
    - Scared of Jimmy King
    - Scared of Dan Spencer

I wonder what else will be revealed of this man's fears! Ross hasn't been shortlisted for Best Bad Boy, but considering the above I'm not surprised.

Sorry, Michael, you are great but the writers are becoming your worst enemy on the show!

Ross was never a loveable rogue. He started as a nasty crim and has continued down the same path. Russ may be a wannabe Cain, but he is just an incompetent thug who has left a long path of criminal fiascos in his wake!

Oh come on he was always going to be up against it this year seeing as he hasn't had all that much screen time. He got those awards last year deservedly but he hasn't had a lot to do this year so obviously he wont be shortlisted

I think you need to be a little bit more patient. Ross needed to be a background character for a bit and we know a big story is coming

And he doesn't need to be a bad boy all the time. We have seen more of his silly cheeky side lately but the they have tried to do light hearted stuff more aswell with others. NOT just Ross

At the start of the year I conceded in the fact Ross was going to have little air time. That's not what bothers me. What we have seen of Ross is.

What do we do for next year's storylines? Stick to how we knew Ross last year or how he is this year. He looks like Ross. He talks like Ross. But this year Ross is not Ross.

He is an imposter. Whilst the real Ross is.on a break. Problem with that is a lot of damage will be done for the fly by viewers.

This is such an overreaction, for a start Ross isn't scared of Dan he just feels guilt as its his mate who he works with everyday. The Jimmy thing was also nothing, he hardly ran away expecting a punch. I think anyone getting caught listening to there neighbours having sex would run and feel embarrassed. Also how is a fear of clowns and needles a weakness? Everyone has phobias, some of the strongest people I know have the weirdest fears I have heard of. A quiet year does not ruin or change a character, Ross will always be a bad boy, just be patient and wait for a storyline. He has been on screen much more these past few weeks and has the James storyline coming up soon.

Really? I thought the psycho Ross who shot Robert and hung Pete off a viaduct was an impostor. This Ross is cheeky, relatively light hearted but he still has his mischievous side and his scams. From what I can see you're the only one who is worried about his character, I think its improved.

I think you need to remember what Ross was actually like when he joined the show, he done a lot of small jobs and scams but he was mainly just cheeky and sarcastic. Pretty much like he is now, the Ross last year was a result of his affair with Debbie and his brother almost killing him, he was messed up and now he's moving on.
