I have had some sad news today from my younger sister, one of my uncles (my Dad's eldest brother) is at end of life due to Alzheimers, my Mum has the same terrible condition, also the local jewellers in my area are closing due to the high rents they have to pay, and the Art shop is going too ( the owner is to retire) also the increase in online ordering means she cannot keep up.

On a happier note am going away soon.

I've just agreed to a 5 grand payment to the owners of the land my flat sits on so I can add 90 years to the land lease Thats on top of the 4 grand I've already spent to get to this stage

But if your land lease drops below 80 years good luck selling it apart from at auction and the land owners will be able to make you suffer with their rent demands and more , add to that in 80 years they can evict you.

But I did manage to gently remove a bird from my land ladies front room earlier, I have to say I've never seen her be that animated .. Poor bird just wanted to get the hell out of dodge and I pointed it in the right direction, had it been a bat land lady would of been on her own.

I hope you get your money's worth from that flat after all the hassle you've been through!

That was kind of you to put the bird outside.

    Thank you Dazzle.

Yeah, the flat will give me a good income when finally on spec, its in a great location and apart from mine ATM they are all rented out and not owner occupied. Its on a major bus route to the town centre, opposite macdonlds Llidl , Tescos and the pubs next door... although mine does come with its own weirdo stalker.

    No eastenders tonight.. bummer

Perhaps an estate agent could put a positive spin on that and maybe even turn it into a selling point?
