EastEnders fans were treated to another Mitchell-tastic episode tonight as Grant bowed out of Walford for a second time, just as it looked like we might finally meet his secret son.

Tuesday night's instalment (August 8) ended with another tantalising cliffhanger, as Phil decided to make contact with Mark Junior, having found out about Grant fathering a child with Michelle Fowler during a one-night stand in 1995.

Phil (Steve McFadden) decided to act against Sharon's advice by ringing his never-seen nephew, believing that Mark could provide Grant (Ross Kemp) with a much-needed opportunity to start afresh.

And if you are desperate to know more about the person on the other end of the phone, then you're in luck.

Sharon just happened to drop some rather big clues about what we can expect from the mystery man during a conversation with Phil earlier in the episode. In fact, Sharon all but described his casting call.

"He is good-looking. He went to a British school, has a British accent to impress the girls," Sharon explained. "He is a good lad, makes good coffee and has a sports scholarship at college so he is bright."

So, we can expect to see a hunky, British-accented actor who'll end up working in the cafe then...

But just as it looks like we could be introduced to a new Mitchell very soon, we also lost another as Grant stormed out of Albert Square once again. Typical!

After heart-to-hearts with two of his ex-flames - Jane and Kathy - and a passionate encounter with Belinda, Grant concluded that no good could come of him being in Walford. And so, in true Grant style, he upped and left for the second time.

However, fans shouldn't be too disappointed as Digital Spy can confirm that we will be seeing him again in the not-too-distant future. But will it be his secret son that brings him back to Walford? Or something else?
