Emmerdale stars Kelvin Fletcher has said that his character Andy Sugden's world will come crashing down when he is wrongly arrested for shooting Lawrence White.
Andy will take centre stage once again next week as as Chrissie frames him for shooting her father Lawrence – a crime that was actually committed by her angry son Lachlan.
Fletcher said: "The way it's shot, the audience are kind of on Chrissie's journey. So whether they're going to understand and sympathise with what she's doing is another matter. But the fact is they're seeing what she's doing. They know why she's doing it – whether you agree or disagree is a different matter.

"There probably will be those moments where you're shouting at the television, 'Andy, can't you see what's happening?' But she plays it so well and that's where the great soap bitch comes out in her.
"It's like a Jekyll and Hyde, playing these two completely different characters – where when she's with Andy, she's nothing but loving, supportive and again is his biggest advocate."
With Chrissie out for a revenge, there are turbulent times ahead for Andy, who could be facing a prison sentence for a crime he didn't commit. It also looks like it could be a while until he finds out who was behind the shock scheme.

Fletcher added: "He's been to prison before, so you'd like to think that he certainly knows what to expect, I guess. I think he'd be absolutely heartbroken. If you look back at his whole life, he's not had the happiest life. But especially over the last 18 months, 2 years.
"Suddenly as things start to go right, his world comes crashing down. I'd like to think that doesn't happen, but if it's going towards that, his only saving grace is Diane and Victoria. They're the only two pillars that are supportive figures.
"Everyone else, like Louise alluded to, can be manipulated and I guess that's the big disadvantage for Andy because he hasn't got a contact with everyone certainly in the way that Chrissie has. He does seem a little bit like a loner on his own, and we'll see."
Emmerdale will air these scenes on Wednesday, July 27, Thursday, July 28 and Friday, July 29 on ITV.
