    Monday (1)

A subdued Jason opens his birthday cards and sees a bank statement confirming that Tony's money is now in his account. Phelan's ears prick up and Todd clocks his interest.

Jason then calls at Number 8 and breaks the news to David, Kylie and Gail that the police have found the murder weapon and are convinced that Tony was the killer. Gemma warns Jason that Callum's mates are out for revenge now that they know Tony was responsible for his death.

Soon afterwards, Phelan and Eileen are horrified to find Jason writing out a cheque to David Platt with the intention of giving him Tony's money for Max and Lily's future. Eileen talks some sense into him while Phelan rips up the cheque. As Phelan and Jason head back to the yard, they're shocked to find the van on fire. Has someone torched it?

Meanwhile, Ken encourages Leanne to set up a new restaurant with Nick and offers to lend her the money. Leanne is touched. She approaches Nick and assures him that she really wants to go into business with him and was only paying lip service to Robert. Nick remains stung and gives her short shrift.

Elsewhere, Liz arrives back from Spain and is stunned to learn that Michelle is going away. She tells Steve to sort things out. Tim also agrees to try to talk some sense into Steve. Under pressure, Steve agrees to try to find Michelle in a last ditch attempt to save his marriage.

Also, over breakfast, Norris insists on a game of Othello. He's put out when Kirk unwittingly wipes the floor with him. Determined to get his own back, Norris purchases a particularly complicated board game - convinced it'll bamboozle Kirk.

    Monday (2)

As Gemma appears from the kebab shop, Jason turns on her and demands to know which of Callum's mates torched his van. Gemma denies all knowledge. Phelan then sows a seed in Jason's mind, suggesting that he should take a break until the Tony scandal has died down.

As Eileen, Todd, Sean and Billy ready themselves for Jason's birthday meal at the Bistro, Jason announces that he's leaving Weatherfield and Phelan has kindly offered to look after the business. Phelan then furtively phones his mate and thanks him for torching Jason's van...

Meanwhile, Robert continues to goad Zeedan, suggesting that he's got the hots for Leanne. Zeedan is embarrassed. Tracy calls in the Bistro and complains that her kidney is causing her pain. Robert is dismissive and reckons it's just a ruse to try to worm her way back in.

Later, Nick calls at Leanne's flat and apologises for his earlier behaviour. He admits to Leanne that he still has feelings for her and tries to kiss her. Leanne resists and Nick heads home mortified. Afterwards, Leanne listens to messages on her phone from Nick then Robert, then Zeedan. She is then interrupted by a visitor and invites them in. Once Leanne's visitor lets himself out again, Leanne sits with her head in her hands, deeply regretful of what just happened.

Elsewhere, Steve and Michelle exchange an awkward farewell, neither willing to admit they're heartbroken. Michelle's taxi pulls away and Steve watches on, devastated.

Also, Chesney and Sinead dupe Kirk and Beth into spending the evening together at Number 5 in the hope they can sort out their differences. However, their plans are thwarted when Norris calls round and begs Kirk to return to Number 3, citing a problem with his electricity. Having looked at Norris's fuse box, Kirk realises he's been conned. But when Norris shows Kirk the new board game he's bought, Kirk feels sorry for him and agrees to stay for a game.

    Wednesday

Jason reaches a final decision and announces to Eileen and Phelan that he's leaving for Thailand later today. He visits Sarah in hospital and tells her of his plans. Sarah gives him her blessing and insists that he must forget about Callum and enjoy himself.

Later, Eileen, Todd and Sean bid Jason an emotional farewell. Phelan gives a smile of satisfaction as Jason's taxi pulls away.

Meanwhile, Amy berates Steve for letting Michelle go, pointing out that she's the best thing that's ever happened to him. A subdued Steve admits Amy is right. Soon afterwards, Maria lets herself into Carla's flat and is startled to find Michelle there. Michelle explains that the job on the cruise ship fell through, but Steve mustn't find out she's back.

When Amy tells Maria how much she misses Michelle and how much Steve misses her too, Maria is conflicted. Michelle heads out of the flat and is taken aback to find Steve waiting for her. Amy admits she set them up and Steve begs Michelle to give him another chance. Will they reunite?

Elsewhere, determined to make a fresh start, Leanne tells Eva that she's going to look for a new job. She resigns from the Bistro, leaving Robert flummoxed. Leanne apologises to Nick for messing him about, but tells him she has decided to go for a completely clean break and look for a new job. Nick is understanding.

Also today, Tracy suffers a stab of pain and doubles over in the flower shop. Beth takes her to the medical centre, where the doctor refers her to the transplant clinic.

Finally, when Kirk admits that he fell asleep over a board game at Norris's and that's why he didn't come home, Chesney tells him it's time to choose between Beth and Norris. Kirk finally snaps and tells Norris he's happy to visit him now and again, but Beth is his wife and he loves her. Beth is thrilled.

    Friday (1)

Clearly in pain, Tracy confides in Beth that she has got an appointment with the specialist but Ken is none the wiser. Beth insists she'll accompany her. As Amy sets off for her violin recital, Tracy approaches and is upset to realise she knew nothing about it. Amy makes it clear that she's not welcome.

Cancelling her appointment with the specialist, Tracy sets off for the recital anyway. When Tracy arrives at the back of the hall, Amy loses concentration and rushes from the stage humiliated. In the foyer, Ken berates Tracy for failing to respect Amy's wishes.

When Tracy makes bitchy comments about Amy's lack of talent, she is mortified to realise Amy has overheard. Telling Eccles she is her only friend in the world, Tracy takes her for a walk but soon collapses in agony in the ginnel...

Meanwhile, in preparation for her sentencing, Izzy shows Anna and Gary the childcare rota she's drawn up for them should she be sent to prison. Izzy drops Jake off with Anna and breaks down in tears, aware she may not see him again for a long time. Gary does his best to comfort her. Overcome with emotion, Izzy kisses Gary and he kisses her back.

Elsewhere, Sophie is put out when Luke lets slip that Kate and Caz have been invited to Liam's birthday party. When a stressed Maria calls in the salon and announces that her cooker has broken down, Caz comes to the rescue and insists they'll host Liam's party. Maria is grateful, while Audrey is impressed at Caz's generosity. With his party in full swing, Liam accidentally causes Maria to spill a drink over Caz. With nimble swiftness, Caz moves her leg out of the way and Luke realises she's not in any pain at all.

Also, Phelan invites his mate over to the builder's yard and thanks him for torching Jason's van and tells him his plans to empty Jason's bank account and steal his business. When Eileen calls at the yard and reveals that Jason has given her control of the business finances, Phelan does his best to mask his fury.

    Friday (2)

Dev hands Eccles over to Beth, explaining that he found her wandering the street. A concerned Beth enlists Robert's help and they are shocked to find Tracy unconscious in the ginnel. After a phone call from Robert, Ken arrives at the hospital, blaming himself for failing to realise Tracy was ill. The doctor confirms that Tracy has a kidney infection.

As Tracy regains consciousness, she admits to Beth how scared she is. When Beth explains that Robert picked her up and saved her life, Tracy's hopes are lifted. However, Amy refuses to go and see Tracy. Tracy suggests to Robert they could try again but Robert is adamant that it's over. When Tracy asks after Amy, Ken is forced to admit she refused to visit. Tracy is devastated and vows to put things right with her daughter.

Meanwhile, clearly hopeful, Izzy suggests that she and Gary should get back together. Not wishing to dash her hopes, Gary agrees it's a possibility. Izzy, Gary and Anna arrive at court, and Gary and Anna listen in horror as Izzy receives a two-month prison sentence. Gary admits to Anna that he and Izzy kissed and he's worried that she has read too much into it and got her hopes up. Izzy sits alone in a prison cell, scared and upset.

Elsewhere, when Liam steers his remote control car into Caz's leg, she overreacts and screams in agony. Kate rushes to her aid, while Luke secretly reckons she is putting it on. When Luke discovers Caz's discarded painkiller in the sink, his suspicions are heightened. Luke voices his suspicions to Sophie about Caz's fake injury, so Sophie resolves to tell Kate the truth.

Also, when Eileen enthusiastically suggests she'll cut back on her hours at Street Cars so she can be more hands on with the builder's yard, Phelan can barely contain his fury.

Can´t see Zeedan visiting Leanne in a romantic fashion, as she was going to marry his Dad it would be totally wrong in all aspects imo. I would love to see Robert and Leanne together, it would wind Tracy up no end ... Leanne and Nick together really don´t work for me, they tried it twice and it did not work ... they should be just friends, not a couple

Nick calls round to see Leanne and admits that he still loves her and leans in for a kiss. Leanne resists, leaving an awkward atmosphere, but Nick is clearly still in her head as he leaves.
Leanne later picks up messages on her phone from Robert, Nick and Zeedan and gets a mystery gentleman caller whom she spends the night with. Afterwards, she clearly regrets her actions as she sinks her head into her hands.

I was sure she was to sleep with Steve or has that changed?

These unexplainable storylines that scriptwriters come up with from time to time.. guess alcohol is involved and seems in soapland one glass of wine and being upset and crying is all it takes for somebody to give you physical comfort and a baby is the result

Coronation Street spoiler – Liz McDonald back to save her son’s marriage
Liz McDonald arrives back in Weatherfield next week and is stunned to learn that her son’s marriage to Michelle McDonald is over and she is leaving.
She tells Steve to sort things out before it’s too late and with his mum’s words ringing in his ears he tries to find Michelle in a last ditch attempt to save their marriage.
It doesn’t quite go to plan and Michelle pushes on with her plan to leave. As the clock ticks down on her time on the cobbles, the couple exchange an awkward farewell, neither willing to admit they’re heartbroken.
Michelle’s taxi pulls away and Steve watches, devastated and his daughter Amy has a pop at him for letting her go, pointing out she’s the best thing that’s ever happened to him.
Meanwhile, Maria Connor lets herself into Carla’s flat and is startled to find Michelle there who explains that the job on the cruise ship fell through but Steve mustn’t find out she’s back.
When Amy later tells Maria how much she misses her and how much Steve misses her too, Maria’s conflicted about whether she should come clean about what she knows.
At the end of the week Michelle heads out of the flat and is taken aback to find Steve waiting for her as it soon becomes clear Amy has set them up.
Steve begs Michelle to give him another chance. Will they reunite? Yes, sadly they will. Good to see Liz back, I hope Beverley Callard is feeling much better again
