I'm not going to write them off just yet. The stuff with them last time had to be the way it was because Debbie had to leave for Charley's maternity leave. Not sure how else it could have gone really. As Mike was staying. I think if they are going to have them together then they need to use their strong points. Debbie has to lighten up as nobody has the perfect life and Ross has to show her he can be responsible. He's never going to change to the perfect man and who would want him too but they could be good together if the writing was good.

Debbie will never lighten up though will she? The only upside I can see at the moment to this relationship is that it integrates Ross into the Dingle family.

Well who knows what the new producer will have planned for her. Also giving her something a little more edgier could be good. Might make Cain get off his high horse seeing as he thinks Debbie can do no wrong

what I think will happen is:
Debbie comes back with another boring boyfriend, pretending she doesn't love Ross. She will then have another affair with Ross, Cain will then get involved and kidnap Ross. Ross wont fight back for some strange reason even though he was a champion bare knuckle boxing fighter and he is built like a machine. All so Cain can look the hardman.

I can see why Emmerdale want them together, Ross is a bad boy and Debbie is the woman who attracts the most trouble in the village. The only positive I can think of is Ross being a part of the Dingle family, meaning Robert, Ross and Cain will technically be part of the same family.

It's unreal, last year they were flying high and brought me. Yes, I am a bit biased, it was Ross' character that got me into Emmerdale and now he's not at the forefront I'm finding it hard to watch but even last year I didn't mind watching the non-Ross stories.

This year, Ross is pushed back story wise and all I'm seeing is Aaron, Aaron, Aaron, Robert, Liv, Aaron, Chas, Aaron. Character's who really don't do anything for me to be honest. I wouldn't mind them in small doeses but they have over killed them.

Tonight's episode was just shocking. Yes me being biased I think Michael Parr stole the show again "just a pint, thanks" - but even i'm finding it hard for him to keep me watching.
