Ross Barton (Michael Parr)

He's definetly being wasted but did anyone see Michael on last nights "The Chase" - he's really intelligent. I'm sure he's smart enough to realise in soaps you go through quite periods. I'm hoping next year will be a Ross focused year. It's a bit boring for me 'cos I do only really enjoy Ross' character but I will stick with it.

I'm hoping there'll be a bit of a dramatic exit for Ross later on in the year when Michael climbs mount everest. He's doing that in October, so i'm guessing we'll see his exit episodes at the end of October?

Perhaps we will get another fake death that we know about.

Yeah i think that as well. They were just being pathetic (not all!).

A lot of what i've seen from them - they hate characters who stop them from being together every minute of every day: Ross, Chrissie and now Liv is their target.

It's a bit of irony that they keep on going on how Ross was over used last year and yet he wasn't even in the top 5 most appeared in episodes list. Yet, so far this year all I ever see online is about Robron! It's made me fed up of them.

I don't think we can really blame Kate Oates for what we're seeing now. I'm definetly seeing a pattern of what is appearing on screen and what we're seeing online. Kate was never this focused on the online channels.

I used to love Robron until they started being overused. I think Kate Oates's work quality has decreased the last few months tbh but I agree she was no where near as social media obsessed as this new guy. I'm worried Ian Macleod is just going to start trying to impress that fandom and ignoring everyone else. I do want Robron together but they shouldn't dominate the show. The constant "Omg who else loves Robron?!" on social media is becoming repetitive now.

Im still waiting for Ross to get his own back on Cain "Kidnap" Dingle, Im pretty sure someone like Ross wouldnt let what Cain did to him on Debbies wedding day slide.

Yeah, Ross has a charming personality and charisma, and it manages the capture the viewers attention. With Robron there is just constant misery, it's getting boring.

Finn Barton ends up in a punch up with his brother Ross as tensions mount in the family.

As Emma is barred by Charity from the pub after confronting her for stitching up Pete and Finn recently, Ross stirs the pot even further by winding Pete up about Moira.

But it’s Finn who loses it with his sibling as he snaps and punches him.

Afterwards, Emma tells Ross that if he doesn’t sort out his problems then he can just leave them alone. But what will his response be?

For goodness sake. So Ross has to sort out his problems? What problems? He has been doing everything that nobody would ever have expected Ross to be doing for months now. Ok he still winds people up and gets in silly trouble but he has a job and is providing and looking after Moses. Emma will get a shock if he does turn around and leave them alone and take Moses with him!
