I have a feeling that Emma will find out about Belle and the doctor.

Emmerdale spoiler - Emma Barton’s blackmail plot - SoapSquawk
    By SoapSquawk

One of Emma Barton’s neighbours is going to be dragged into her latest scam when she starts blackmailing them.

The scheming villager has lied to her lads by telling them she’s got Motor Neurone disease, a lie she told in a bid to stop her son Pete from leaving the village.

But having told her lie she now has to cover her tracks and one unsuspecting villager is going to be dragged into her mind games.

Gillian Kearney, who plays Emma, explained: “Emma started lying when Pete came out of prison and dropped the bombshell that he’s going to move to Aberdeen. She’s all excited about the tell him about Finn’s business idea, it’s her dream that the family all work together and stay together.

“When he drops that bombshell she thinks on her feet and other characters in the street have shown her that people come good when they really think someone’s ill, so before she really thinks it through she’s making him stay by pretending she’s ill.

“Finn’s suspicious at first but Emma’s quite a resourceful woman as we know so she does have ammunition up her sleeve, she gains the help of another character in the show against their will!

“It’s something naughty and she’s able to make it look good to her sons! It runs quite smoothly because the plan works out, not as she expects, but not too badly.”

So how does Emma expect to get away with her lie? “There’s an alternative illness which could be causing the symptoms and she uses that as her excuse,” explained Gillian.

“I think it’s really brilliant but she’s so out there and you just find yourself wondering what she’s going to try next.

“It’s outrageous and so fun to play someone who doesn’t care and doesn’t think, just improvises, I’m always overjoyed when I read what she’s getting up to.”

Yes, I can see this happening, Emma has no problems blackmailing when it could be to her benefit

Just exactly what are you seeing here that you like that we others are all failing you for? None of us get you!
Do you not cringe when you read back at what you have said? Because I would !!!

Look, you and other Ross Barton "fans" right now have your very own worldwide chance to say just why you still like Ross Barton, right here on soapboards right now.

Nobody here for me anyway has yet even tried to answer my recent question about why anyone would still think so highly of Ross Barton.

Everyone I know is at a loss to try to understand just why anyone could possibly think anything positive about this character right now (but for me anyway it's last been from about September 2015, I reckon).

The BSA 2016 awards are due to be finalised soon and awards given. Ross Barton and Mike Parr are not part of these, just why is that? For me, the annual soap awards seem to reflect who are the most popular and best looking in soap for the past 12 months or so. For Ross Barton and Mike Parr not to be part of the latest soap awards speaks volumes to me anyway that something is really not working for this Emmerdale character and actor.

Quite frankly, I don't care about what you or the rest of the world (you seem to think that all of the 7 billion humans on Earth watch Emmerdale) think about a character that I like to watch. If Ross Barton was a real person, then I'd want him behind bars, but the fact is, he is a TV character and has a lot of fans, despite what you think.

You seem to think you speak for the majority but you don't.

What a total hypocritical lying pathetic delusional person you are!

Why should anyone feel the need to explain to you why we like a fictional character. Having said that we have on a number of occasions. Your just too warped in your hatred towards Michael and Ross to listen.

As for the awards. Erm excuse me but when Michael Parr won FOUR awards last year you shrugged it off saying it doesn't resemble popularity in terms of viewers and how he is doing. Well firstly as we said back then. Your talking out of your bum. Secondly what you have just now posted contradicts what you said back then. Oh yes that's because you are so blinded by your hatred towards fictional character.

Aww bless. You special err guy.
