I really hope Ross and Charity don't get together. I would prefer him with Debbie. I think Ross and Debbie will be good together, but they both need to compromise certain things. That's what relationships are about. Ross did a lot of that when he was with Debbie but she didn't. I think that needs to be recognised.

I've watched the preview clip for next week where Finn gets arrested. Although it doesn't reveal a lot. I don't like what I saw. Although, I have to believe it because it's what happens, but a year ago, I don't think Ross would let the police take Finn away for a second without a fight.

Iain MacLeod has already made it clear who is favourites are: Robron, Coira. I wonder if maybe he doesn't like Ross - whenever Facebook, Twitter, Instagram post pictures of Ross, about an hour later they get taken down.

I don't think i'm going to like this new era.

I agree with the second half of your post. Ian hasn't mentioned Ross at all. I usually like Robron but I'm sort of burned out on them, I guess you could say "too much of a good thing", but he just wants to give them even more screentime now, Aaron and Robert both need a break.

Ross has been a background character ever since Janaury. I get he can't be in every single episode but he appears, then he's gone for 2 weeks. I didn't notice the Tweets about Ross getting deleted, but I have noticed the the excessive amount of Robron posts, it's getting cringeworthy. I wonder who runs the ED Twitter account? I can't imagine it being Ian.

Yeah and when they post about another character all the Robron fans say "bore off I want Robron" I think they have become too popular and people purely just watch the show because of there relationship. Yes Ross has a lot of fans to but we can accept him being in the background for a while as he has had alot of storylines. However some Robron fans from what I see on twitter refuse to watch when they dont appear in it. Also I agree with Rossfan I dont like that the new producer has barely even mentioned Ross, is he not aware of how many awards Michael Parr has won or how many stories Ross has had? I just though I would highlight the fact Im not talking about all of the Robron fans.

Another thing that annoyed me in the last episode was the scene between David and Ross. Ross was made out be a dad who couldn't give a stuff about his son even though we barely ever see Ross without Moses. Surely someone like Cain could of been better for that scene as he has neglected his kids for most of their lives. It just seems to me that Ross is always made out to be the bad one.

Yes this really annoyed me too. It took a while but from what we see Ross has now stepped up. It's time the other characters in the show recognise that.

I feel like Robron's popularity will eventually backfire. ED seem to be relying on them to pull in figures so when their fanbase gets bored I worry about how the producers will get back on their feet. Robrin have become their trademark characters now and I don't think ED realise that it's doing the show more harm than good, long term wise.

I agree and I'm sure Iain MacLeod has a bit of power on what's written in the papers and online.

That's another thing that's annoying me about Robron right now - look at the main page for ED on digitalspy (http://www.digitalspy.com/soaps/emmerdale/)

There's a massive animated picture of Aaron and Robert kissing, where 4 smaller pictures fit along the right hand side of it.
