Yea it was obvious. And well deserved. Not sure why it makes a difference how long you have been on the show though. But you can't deny they have left out Mike and Ryan even Jeff to give Danny a better chance. I still believe it was tactical. I would have put those three forward before Dominic but that's just me.

I agree that it would be good to see Ross be given something that is a lot more emotional and serious if you like.

This isnt exactly Ross related but Ive been reading the spoilers and it looks like Robert leaves Lawrence to die. No doubt some Robron fans will stick up for him and say he acts only on impulse, whereas Ross is a physcho. By the way Im not saying all Robron fans share that view.

If it happens I wonder if a certain someone will blame Ryan Hawley for a criminal event in the world for promoting violence.

No, this won't happen. Standing by doing nothing (as for Robert, it seems for now...) is totally very different from someone actually promoting violence (as previously anyway, by That Very Special Guy... You Know Urrr...)

I really just don't get for right now why Robert would seem to leave Lawrence to die later today. This would be so out-of-character for Robert lately. OK, so Robert has had the divorce stuff with Chrissie but what I don't really get for now is just why ("by-stander") Lawrence would be such a hate-figure for Robert right now? I would have thought that Robert would be delighted that Lawrence set-up Andy to be "duffed up", seeing as Andy set-up Robert to be fatally shot by paid-gunman but motiveless Ross some months ago. I'm really hoping that the Emmerdale scenes aired later today explain why Robert does what he is spoilered to do later today and to leave Lawrence to die, because Robert has been my fave Emmerdale character for quite a while now but I like Lawrence as a character too. I really expected Robert to save Lawrence from his heart attack and to take care of him by calling an ambulance, etc. For the spoilers to say that Robert doesn't do these things really needs an explanation later for me.

Ross is a sociopath, I reckon. He has no morals or care for anyone else it seems and is just a total social misfit in Emmerdale really and is completely dysfunctional in normal everyday life. As far as I can tell for now, Robert has a very different personality disorder and appears to be a creative psychopath. So not aggressive, particularly murderous or useless, but scheming, manipulative, impulsive, etc. Just think like someone who could pass off as a believable commercial airline pilot with no real qualifications or experience. That's the real Robert for me!

I like Robert on his own as an Emmerdale character, just as I like Aaron on his own as an Emmerdale character. I am not very keen on the latest "Robron" scenes though and I really don't think that these have been well planned or written. On this basis, I'd much prefer it if Robert and Aaron stayed apart for now but remained as dodgy business partners.

You choosing to ignore the time Robert held Aaron at gunpoint and then shot Paddy? Or the time he almost buried Paddy alive? Or the time he hired a hitman to kill chas (which he only stopped because she agreed to keep quiet). Oh yeah and the time he was waving another gun about threatening that "very special guy" as you call him? I like both Ross and Robert but saying that Ross has promoted violence and Robert hasnt is ridiculous.

I really dont get how Ross is a social misfit as he has a kid and a family, Robert lives with his sister and her boyfriend, he doesnt have any friends like Ross and he is still living off Chrissie. You could just say you dont like Ross, instead of giving all these reasons which just dont add up.

So Telly watcher doesnt seem to think Ross fits in anymore as he is a misfit, hasnt Ross always been a misfit since the day he arrived? Just like Robert? Most villains are misifits as they dont let many people get close to them and they build up reputations that people dont like so people steer clear. This has happended with both Ross and Robert, most villagers havent liked Ross since the whole thing with Laurel and Roberts bad reputation went way back to his affair with Katie. Another villain who doesnt get on with many people is Cain, so how is Ross any different?
