Just heard Michael on Wish FM, he said he will be flying out to do Mount Everest in October and he will be out for 17 days so unless they film scenes a bit more in advance for Ross, I think he will be off screen in December.

The latest info is that Mike Parr is going to be part of a walking team which is just a mix of various people.
The team is not going to "do Mount Everest". Any of the team do not seem in reality, as yet for me anyway, to have the talent, experience, fitness, endurance, etc, to conquer the summit of Everest at 29,029ft (8,848m). The team are just going to trek to just beyond Everest base camp, to "Kala Pattar" , about 5,645m (about 17,000ft) and well below Everest's summit and really below "real climbing" position, so team members are really going to have a (maybe/probably externally sponsored) slog of a walk in snowland to base camp. Just put one foot in front of the other yourself and hired sherpas will carry the bulk of the personal load for every "grand guy", probably sponsored guy there on work-paid annual leave time? Blag, blag, blag!
Of course, the publicity yesterday suggested something much more. So really much more blagging, yet again. (so really what's new before NTA awards?)

So what are people now expecting from Ross? I am about 90% sure that Ross and Chrissie will get together. The chemistry is off the scale with those 2 and I would love to see Ross living up at home farm.

Loserguy, low-life thug and complete Emmerdale misfit Ross Barton gets yet another year with ITV for being a complete numpty, blagging, dislikeable, unbelievable, unrealistic and crimbo wannabe failure. Emmerdale clearly couldn't get fun and cheeky chappie Danny Dyer to sign up for a part in Emmerdale. Ross Barton has really failed on Emmerdale for the last 6 months or so. Emmerdale really needed to get rid of Ross Barton in August 2015. Had Emmerdale done so then from August 2015 then everyone would have been onto a winner. Now everyone is stuck with this completely dislikeable loser on ITV for at least a year. UK really seems to just suck right now on just about everything from government, EU membership, soaps on TV, etc, etc, etc. Can UK fall any lower? There really must be some level below which it is not possible for UK to sink below?
