Er, Ross isn't no longer entertaining. He's really very boring now. Ross has a kid which may or may not be his, Ross has a rubbish life which I and many others wouldn't want, and there seem to be no future storylines of interest which I can think up for him right now. C'mon keep up. Ross Barton has never or will ever belong in a close-knit farming community like Emmerdale, I reckon. Hopefully, Ross Barton will go on exotic holiday real soon and get eaten by a hungry Yeti. Mmmmm, sweet! Haha!Oh here we go again
I find the character of Ross entertaining and I'm fed up of having to justify why I like a FICTIONAL character.

Not everyone on Emmerdale has to be a farmer that is a stupid comment, also you never answered the question about Robert. Why doesn't Ross fit in a farming community but Robert does? Both are criminals, both have cheated and both should be in jail.

I can think of many potential storylines for Ross: 1. His relationship with his son. 2. Resolve his fued with Pete. 3. Look into his back story more and what he did when he was missing from home. 4. See how Ross and Charity would deal with sharing Moses.

I disagree. I know that some others don't share my opinion, there is clear proof even on soapboards that this is true. Well, that's all right. I was where these others were about 4-5 months ago. Maybe they will catch up in a while? In the meantime, Debbie Dingle, I and others can take a well-earned break from Ross Barton who seems to be about to go on holiday for a while faraway... haha!
