Sheila speaks to Gary and he confirms that Xanthe is his daughter. All three Cannings deal with their pain over this revelation. Kyle tries to get to know Xanthe, but her snobbish attitude starts to wear on him. Sheila thinks that Xanthe just needs some time, so she urges Kyle to be sympathetic to what she must be going through. Kyle isn't so sure.
Later, when Xanthe gets on the phone to a friend back home, she reveals that she hates her new family and will simply get money from them then leave. It looks like Kyle's reservations are right...
Meanwhile, Imogen announces that her date with Tyler is the perfect chance for her to move on from Daniel. It's something Piper is not so pleased to hear. When Tyler comes over to pick Imogen up, Piper takes the opportunity to confront him about his hurtful actions. He is dismayed to realise that she has taken their kiss so much to heart and tries to downplay it.
Later, Tyler turns Imogen down when she goes in for a kiss and returns to Piper instead. Back at the Willis house, Tyler and Piper speak openly about their kiss, unaware that Terese is there and has heard them. Shocked, she demands to know what the hell is going on.

Terese demands an explanation following the discovery that Piper kissed Tyler. She also involves Brad in the situation. Piper is told that she can no longer work with Tyler, while Brad warns Tyler to keep away from her altogether.
When Imogen bumps into Tyler in Lassisters Complex, she accuses him of using her to hurt Piper the night before. As she was using him to get over Daniel, Tyler calls her on her double standards - and the tensions grow.
Meanwhile, Dimato has been attempting to woo Paul into a business venture. However, his scheme is delivered a major setback when Paul's due diligence results in him finding the stash of stolen goods in the apartment that Paige leased for Michelle. Dimato offers Paul a tempting incentive to forget what he has seen.
Elsewhere, Sheila discovers that Xanthe's mother Brooke has done a runner from a scandalous "lonely hearts" scam. This means Xanthe has nobody at home and no money.

Paul alerts Paige to the goings-on at the apartment. A spooked Paige goes to the apartment to find it full of stolen goods. Michelle admits the whole thing is a set-up - an effort to pay Paige back for sending her to jail. There is a chase and a tussle, but Michelle gets the upper hand. She pins Paige down while making a call to the police.
Michelle reports the suspicious activity at the flat, which is in Paige's name. Paige is horrified to realise that Michelle has well and truly stitched her up, but how will she get out of this?
Meanwhile, Lauren confides to Steph that she has nominated Terese for an Erinsborough Women In Business Award, in attempt to start to heal the divide between them. When Terese learns about the nomination, she thanks Lauren - but wonders if the nomination was made out of guilt.
Elsewhere, Brad does some soul searching, realising that he still wants to be with Lauren. He confides in Josh, who urges him to give it a shot. Brad decides to fight to win Lauren back, but will Lauren turn him down?
Also today, Karl wins a night at Lassiters with all the trimmings. Susan is horrified when instead of focusing on her, he turns it into a money spinner.

Brad and Lauren agree to not be together, but when Josh sees them embrace, he misconstrues their body language and tells Terese the 'news' that they're back together.
When Paul later does something considerate for Terese, she's warmed and takes a chance with an impromptu kiss followed by a proposition. Will Paul take her up on it?
Meanwhile, Paige reaches out to Paul for help, realising she's in over her head. He is initially reluctant but then takes her under his wing, helping her keep a very curly legal situation at bay. Later, Paul is pulled up by Dimato over his betrayal and it gives him the confidence to push Dimato out of town. There's room for only one king in Erinsborough...
Elsewhere, Toadie shows Karl and Susan that he can use his crutches without help from his physio.

Paul and Terese are awkward around each other after last night's encounter. How far did things go between them?
Later, Paul receives a harsher sentence than he expected from the magistrate. He takes out his anger on Brad. Brad is prompted to reach out to Lauren and they agree to start afresh, filled with hope. But things look worse than ever for Paul, especially when he encounters the new interim Mayor of Erinsborough.
Meanwhile, Paul also gets a visit from Hilary, who is demanding he return the money she invested in his failed gazebo business. When Daniel realises that Imogen is the one giving Hilary legal advice, he spies a chance to spend some quality sparring time with his ex and offers to step in to negotiate with her. How will Imogen feel when she sees a glimpse of the old Daniel?
Elsewhere, Sonya and Aaron are dismayed to learn that the council is planning to shut down and bulldoze the community centre. They decide to try to fight the decision. Despite Sonya's reservations, Aaron reaches out to Tim Collins, who is now on the council, hoping he'll hear them out. To Sonya's surprise, Tim is very interested in their cause and promises to take their concerns to the rest of the council.
