    Ryan Thomas admits that he's feeling nerves as he prepares to leave Coronation Street.

    Last October, the 31-year-old Manchester native announced that he would be quitting the role of Jason Grimshaw in 2016.

    Chatting about his exit with OK!, Thomas acknowledged that he has mixed feelings about departing the long-running soap.

    "'[I'm] scared and excited," he said. "I'm feeling a mixed bag of emotions as I don't feel like I know anything else."

    He continued: "It's the biggest decision I have ever made in my whole career. I am going to miss my Corrie family so much."

    Thomas has played the role of Jason Grimshaw on the cobbles dating all the way back to 2000.

    His final storyline is expected to play out on Coronation Street this summer.

    i have no idea but he had an issue with Callum. Maybe he leaves for a new life after it all rather than prison.

    he should go off with his dad somewhere exotic

    jason has a business in weatherfield

    i hope not jail for callum's murder but as he had clashed with callum and was doing the refit he is top suspect
