Tess (Nicola Stephenson)

In an Inside Soap interview, Nicola Stephenson hints there may be more to her character [Tess] than it seems...

Nicola said, "I don't know yet where the writers intend to go with Tess. It could well go either way. She might be someone the public are going to hate further down the line - but at the moment, she seems like a very nice person. Tess is just in a really unhappy marriage, and has ended up getting involved in a situation she shouldn't have. A lot of people do in real life, don't they?"

Nicola suggests we take Tess' words with a pinch of salt... "She is kind of remorseful about sleeping with Paddy - but she's also preparing herself for the moment he turns around and rejects her again," admits the actress. "Whenever Paddy gets scared, he becomes quite cold towards Tess, so she's simply trying to protect herself from any heartbreak."

"Maybe Tess has problems in her marriage that Paddy doesn't have in his," wonders the star. "But I think there are other driving forces behind what she's doing to Paddy - it could be to do with her not having any children of her own. We'll just have to wait and see."

"It would be good if there turned out to be something not nice about her, though," adds Nicola. "If she ended being a little unhinged, I'd absolutely love it!"

interesting- but I dont think another
"unhinged"woman is needed in ED.??

She will find plenty of bunnies and small animals to boil at the vets!!!! Dont think she will be able to boil any cows though
