I think Pete should be paired with Vanessa they have chemistry. I hate what the writers are doing to Pete they make him look like a loser while Ross looks like the hero. I really resent the favoritism the writers have for Michael Parr he's gotten more screentime than anybody else on the show. Ross is not even the most interesting character on the show. Aaron and Robert are the most important characters on Emmerdale along with Finn. But making Pete into a depressed loser is the wrong way to go. I want Pete to get STRONGER and I want him to get REVENGE on Ross and Debbie they need to pay for what they did to him. He was totally blindsided that his slapper wife would leave him for his brother. I bet I am the only person who is not cool about this Ross and Debbie relationship I can't stand either of them.

Robert and Aaron are important characters yes but Finn? You must really love gay characters.

Adam, however, has a much more violent reaction when he finds out what Rakesh did. He punches him and swears he will make him pay. And Priya doesn't get off lightly, either. Vanessa and Kirin can't believe Priya kept the truth from them. And, struggling to defend Rakesh any longer, Priya moves out of their home [Tuesday, 12th Jan]. Adam's revenge could soon give Rakesh something else to worry about...

Do you think Adam has romantic feelings for Vanessa? I just got a sense during some scenes with the baby they have chemistry. It is interesting the show pairing Vanessa with the younger cast member since she is 39.

Also Michael Part has just won his 6th award in 3 years, maybe he gets lots of screentime because he is very good.

Well i disagree with you here. Ross is in my opinion the most complex and interesting character they have at the moment. There's a massive backstory they could fill explaining as to how he turned out the way he has. They've touched a bit on it when Ross kidnapped Pete. They could and should go back to that. Maybe even introduce a few of Ross' old friends who could have took him under their wing? Maybe he has a mentor for an example. That could really cause a rift between Ross/James and said man. Looking at the upcoming spoilers, they're going to show Ross manage looking after Moses. This is a big character development.

Maybe Aaron, Robert and Finn are not the most important characters to you as a fan but that doesn't mean that the show needs them overall to continue. The show has been on air since 1972 with characters coming and going contantly.

Pete had his revenge, by dumping Ross' body in the woods. Then not tell anyone that Ross was "dead". I think murdering someone is a lot worse than having an affair!

Finally, you and some others might not like the Ross and Debbie relationship. But it's a case of what doesn't interest you, might interest someone else. Personally, I like them together. Yes, they fight and argue but they do seem to be very much their equal.

I don't see any romantic future for Adam and Vanessa for now, as Adam now seems happily married to Vic. Yes, Adam has bonded with Johnny but I don't see how this can last once reality sets in for Adam in January that he isn't related to Johnny after all, and he may even find Vanessa will become someone he wants to avoid later on? Rakesh seems to be going to have some come-uppance from Adam but we'll have to wait to see how far this goes (Adam does punch Rakesh on 11th Jan but this may be only the start of bigger things?). However, there may a happy ending for this storyline about Johnny perhaps, as I think that either Vic may become pregnant with Adam's own son in a while or Vanessa may become romantically linked to Kirin again (even maybe both of these things happen!)?
