ewww I hope people are wrong but I always wonder when writers pair male and female characters in scenes together sometimes. Like David and Carly they almost kissed on last night episode. I know Carly was drunk but the writers seem to be suggesting they might pair up. But Pete and Moria that would be so shocking and weird because she is his aunt.

Also WHEN is Finn going to get his own storyline? And I mean a real one the writers have really wasted him. I hope the new producer who I heard is gay I hope he does Finn Barton some justice.

I sooooooooooooo agree with you, that would just be a very yucky storyline. Just get rid of Pete & James, they are wasted characters that need to go. And I also agree that Finn should have a new love, Aaron & Robert arent the only gays in the village. I thought getting rid of Kate Oates would have brought far better storylines, but it looks like the writers are just stumped, maybe thats what Emmerdale needs, new and exciting writers.

I really don't get anyone's adverse reaction for a possible relationship between Moira and Pete during 2016.

Moira and Pete are not blood-related, as far as I know. They are from completely separate families and bloodlines. The only adverse thing I see about Pete and Moira is that Pete would be as him being a toyboy for her. But we have Vanessa and Kirin right now and no-one argues about this... Double standards or what?

Moira and Cain have a piece of paper which says they are legally married. So is this little scrap of paper really supposed to explain why Pete and Moira can't be an item? Aww, c'mon!! Just why is it that religion seems to cause more trouble worldwide right now than anything else, seems to me anyway...!

Pete is just a really great (and very under-rated, by some, it seems!) Emmerdale character. He's such a typical cool calm and solid farming Emmerdale-type, so different to over-emotional, hot-head and unstable Andy for this, I reckon. I really think that Debbie made a massive mistake when she left Pete for Ross earlier last year. I, for one, never want to see Pete taking Debbie back, though! Debbie 's behaviour by cheating with Ross was unforgiveable to Pete before Pete's wedding. Pete deserves so much better and someone completely honest and loyal than Debbie, I believe.

Looks like a Moira and Pete affair might be happening. Pete needs a lady closer to his age he should be with Vanessa or with Lelya or Pryia.

Hasn't it already been ruined? Moira used to be such a sweet innocent housewife I loved her relationship with John. But Moira has a reputation of getting bored in her relationships and sleeping around she is a slapper. But Moira seems to like to keep it in the family. Cain can sense the sexual attraction between Pete and Moira is mutual.
