DS Ross' story:
Dec 22 2015 Ross asks Aaron if he wants to join him on a job, but Aaron isn't keen. Soon afterwards, Aaron is shocked and furious to see Gordon emerge from a taxi in the village. He even remains disinterested when Gordon explains that he has been battling cancer.
Gordon offers to give his son the money to buy the pub, but Aaron thinks he is trying to buy him off and angrily grabs him. Aaron then sees Ross heading off in his van and jumps in with him - he has changed his mind about doing that job after all.
Dec 23 2015 Chas returns to The Woolpack and is shocked to hear of Diane's plans for the business. Diane assures her that she won't sell to just anyone, but Chas gets another shock when she learns that Diane has met her ex Gordon through attending chemotherapy.
At the same time, Ross fills in Aaron about the job - they are going to rob a warehouse and Aaron is the look-out. Ross heads into the warehouse as Aaron waits outside, but a worker who doesn't recognise him soon questions him. Will Aaron do something he may later regret?
Dec 24 2015 Meanwhile, when the warehouse robbery comes on the news, Aaron has to cover by pretending that his pile of cash is from the scrapyard. Things gets worse when he sees an image of himself in the paper. Later, Chas is floored when Gordon shows her the article and she refuses to believe it's her son. Later, DS Hart arrives during the nativity, wanting to talk to Aaron about the robbery.
Dec 28 2015 Pete and Debbie receive their marriage annulments. Finn is stunned when Ross hints at his next plan.
Dec 30 2015 Robert is puzzled when DS Hart tells him they have evidence of Ross being at the scene of the shooting.
Ross swears to Debbie that he had nothing to do with it and she accepts his promise, but it's clear that Ross is feeling the net tighten around him. Is it only a matter of time before the truth comes out?
Dec 31 2015 With Finn's help, Ross seems determined to go ahead with his plan, despite the police presence. Andy is forced to make an admission to Robert, but what will Robert do with this information?
Later, Pete is troubled to learn that Debbie gave Ross a false alibi for the shooting, but will he tell her the truth? Not long afterwards, Ross is shaken when Robert appears from the shadows and pulls out a gun. Soon it all comes to a head between Debbie and Ross...
Jan 01 2016 Debbie visits Charity in prison and is taken aback when Charity compares her relationship with Ross to her own relationship with Cain.
Later, Debbie drops the bombshell on Cain and Andy that she has decided to leave with the kids. Andy is left devastated when she gives him an ultimatum. As Debbie is about to set off, Ross spots her. Will he let her leave and take all the kids with her?
