Emmerdale's week ahead with a premature new arrival for Vanessa and Belle becoming a maneater
5 September 2015
By Neil Batey, mirror.co.uk
A premature new arrival for Vanessa.
There’s baby drama in Emmerdale this week when Vanessa Woodfield is rushed to hospital and gives birth three months prematurely.
On Monday, Vanessa’s ex-lover Kirin Kotecha – who still doesn’t know that he’s the baby’s father – is stunned when his business partner Belle makes a pass at him.
He rejects her amorous advances and later confides in Vanessa about the cringey incident, and it’s obvious they both still hold a candle for each other.
At the big drinks launch at the factory, wannabe entrepreneur Kirin is impressed with Belle’s professionalism and starts to see the youngster in a different light.
But he’s soon distracted when Jai, high on cocaine yet again, causes a scene and pregnant Vanessa gets pushed to the floor. With Adam nowhere in sight, it falls to Kirin to drive her to hospital.
The vet is stunned when a doctor checks on her condition and he tells her she’s about to go into labour. Kirin comforts Vanessa and re-assures her that everything will be OK, as the midwife takes her to the delivery suite.
After spotting 29 missed calls on his phone, Adam races to the hospital, where Vanessa gives birth.
However, emotions run high when the doctor warns them that the tiny little boy’s health is so fragile that he will need to be closely monitored.
Is Vanessa and Kirin’s son going to make it?
Some last minute Hope for jailbird Bob?
The anxious wait is over for Bob ‘No’ Hope, when his court case for fraud finally gets under way.
As the prosecution barrister details his crime, the cafe owner is full of shame.
The court breaks for lunch and Harriet tries to put a positive spin on events, but Brenda snaps that she’s delusional and assures her that Bob is doomed to a long prison sentence.
With the defendant looking bang to rights, things suddenly look up when Carly arrives.
She’s still dithering about giving vital evidence for her dad, but Harriet begs her to do the right thing and make a statement.
Gingerly, Carly steps up to the witness stand and explains her involvement in the cash scam to the judge.
Will Bob be spared a long spell at Her Majesty’s pleasure, or is he heading straight back to a prison cell?
David puts Portugal plans on hold - and Alicia isn't happy.
After all the drama they went through to finally get together, it’s sad that David and Alicia’s romance is on the rocks already.
The star-crossed lovers, so long embroiled in a love triangle with Priya, looked set to enjoy a long and happy relationship.
However, David doesn’t want to return to Portugal as he’s worried that his grief-stricken father might commit suicide.
He later hears Alicia fuming about his plans to buy back the shop and angrily accuses her of being selfish and inconsiderate.
With David keen to move back to the village and Alicia unable to contemplate life away from sunnier climes, will they now call it quits?

I agree! Plus whilst I understand she had a lot with Cameron, it's quite obvious The scenario with Pete and Ross is completely different! He didnt plan to murder Ross, they had a fight that got out of hand. Not really the same as Cameron's lunatic behaviour. And given he fought with Ross because she'd been dropping her knickers for him, she can't blame him for the way he reacted really. And now she's playing the victim? I think her reaction to Pete is completely unjustified!
And I wish Emma would just go!!
