Oh dear. I fear this will be the time when Kush and Shabnam find out about their stillborn baby.

Over on EastEnders, Carmel Kazemi and Masood Ahmed will be left red-faced when Shabnam walks in on them in bed together.

With Shabnam busy making the final preparations for her and Kush's wedding day, she grows increasingly irritated as Carmel (Bonnie Langford) continues to interfere.

The latest trouble between the two ladies begins when a desperate Carmel moves herself in, having nowhere else to stay as her ex-husband is selling her home.

Shabnam (Rakhee Thakrar) feels that her future mother-in-law is far too close for comfort, but she later takes sympathy on Carmel when she discovers that Kush's dad is attending the wedding with his new girlfriend.

As the day of Kush's stag party arrives, Shabnam invites her friends over to prepare her Mendhi dress, but things get off to a rocky start when Denise and Carmel begin to drink, leaving her Aunt Fatima unimpressed.

Later, Shabnam heads to Kush's flat but gets more than she bargained for when she finds Masood (Nitin Ganatra) and Carmel in bed together. How will Shabnam react?

Meanwhile, Martin joins Stacey as she has her baby scan at the hospital, but the atmosphere turns sour when he brings up her bipolar, causing an argument between them. Once they're back home, Martin encourages Stacey to let him be involved in decisions, but he is upset to hear that she has already consulted the doctor about whether she should continue taking her medication or not.

When the pair are interrupted by Sonia, Martin is surprised to discover that Stacey has seen the midwife too. He storms off, leaving Sonia to offer Stacey some advice about Martin. When Martin returns, he promises Stacey that he will stand by her whatever she decides. However, Sonia gives Martin a harsh reality check - if he has any doubts at all, he should leave Stacey.

Elsewhere, Shabnam grows increasingly irritated as Carmel takes over preparations for the wedding. Later on, Carmel discovers that Kush's dad is attending the wedding with his new girlfriend.

It's the day of Kush's stag do, so Shabnam invites some friends over with her Aunt Fatima to prepare her Mendhi dress. The occasion gets off to a rocky start when Denise and Carmel begin to drink, leaving Fatima unimpressed.

Outside, Stacey spots the stags returning from their paintballing trip. She speaks to Martin and finds out about his recent conversation with Sonia. Stacey decides to confront Sonia over her interference, but Sonia explains herself and leaves Stacey rattled with her words. Is Sonia right with what she tells her about Martin?

Back at The Vic, Stacey speaks to Kush, who encourages her to make a decision about her and Martin's future. At the same time, Shabnam heads to Kush's flat but gets more than she bargained for when she finds Masood and Carmel in bed together.

Meanwhile, Carol reveals that Dot will be out of prison soon and suggests they should do something with Nick and Jim's ashes. This gives Tina an idea and she suggests to Mick and Shirley that they should all head to Billingsgate to spread Stan's ashes. Shirley says she'll give it a miss.

Elsewhere, Whitney receives a worrying letter at The Vic. What is it about?

Masood and Carmel's situation becomes even more embarrassing when Kush also walks into the bedroom and sees them together. Masood quickly leaves after trying to explain the situation, but he gets himself in even more trouble once he's back at home. Masood again tries to explain his actions, but an angry Kush sees the commotion and gets involved. When Kush and Masood begin to fight, Shabnam gets upset and heads off to Stacey's to discuss the situation.

Mick steps in and manages to calm down Kush, bringing him back to The Vic to continue the stag celebrations. Unfortunately, Mick's surprise for the event hasn't gone according to plan, so the event comes to an early end.

Later, Shabnam returns home to apologise to her father for getting so angry, but it's clear to Masood that something else is wrong. After some encouragement from Masood, Shabnam reveals that she is not sure she can remember the last time she felt her baby move.

Meanwhile, Martin returns home to talk to Stacey, but her doubts continue to grow when he is too drunk to have a conversation.

Elsewhere, Tina attempts to bring Mick and Shirley back together, but will her plan work?

Also today, Lee worries about his relationship with Whitney when he realises she has lied to him about her plans.

Airs Friday, Aug 28 2015 at 20:00 BST on BBC One

Shabnam and Masood have waited all night to feel the baby's usual movements. Masood thinks they should go to the hospital as they have felt nothing, but Shabnam is in denial and insists on waiting longer. Soon afterwards, Kush surprises Shabnam and shows her the nursery for their baby but he doesn't get the reaction he was expecting when Shabnam runs out upset. Masood follows Shabnam and tells her he has spoken to the midwife, who thinks they should go to the hospital.

At the hospital, the midwife is unable to find a heartbeat for the baby and Shabnam eventually asks Masood to call Kush. After Kush arrives, the doctor breaks the news that the baby has tragically died.

Meanwhile, a hungover Martin takes Stacey out for lunch and promises to change his ways by taking responsibility. Still unconvinced, Stacey reveals that she has no medication left and is considering staying off it altogether. Martin repeats his commitment to her, but she urges him to think carefully and gives him the option of leaving her. She says that when she returns home, he can either be there for her or have left. What will Martin decide?

Elsewhere, Tamwar and Nancy open up about their past relationships.

I have just realised that Shabnam will give birth exactly a year to the day that Cindy had Beth. I was looking through the cast lists for any sign of the next Kathy episode and discovered that Shabnam has Kat's midwife too.

Too many pregnancy storylines. EastEnders probably don't even realise these things.

Didn't expect Phil to just turn around and tell Ronnie. Usually he goes all secret and stays as such, no matter with who.

I hope to God that Kathy's excuse for leaving her kids wasn't just for insurance/money like Phil said. If it is, then I agree totally with Ronnie; Kathy should get lost and stay dead!
