Emmerdale Spoilers 17th - 21st August

Megan is in hospital while the doctors run more tests on her and the baby. While she lies anxious about being unable to testify in court, things are not looking good for Rachel. Jai is feeling smug as he comes across as a considerate and caring man in the witness box, but things soon start to go against him as people find out what he has been up to. Rishi says that he wants no more to do with him, and he is not the last of Jai’s friends to desert him. Ashley is upset when he hears that another vicar will be conducting the memorial service. He tells Harriet that it is time he went back to work, but it becomes clear that he is not up to it and he has another seizure. Paddy plays matchmaker when he meets Marlon’s prospective date Julia, while Laurel makes plans to move out. Pete refuses to talk to Debbie about Ross, but Emma fears the worst when she finds Ross’s phone and discovers that he has not touched his bank accounts. She confronts Debbie and a heated exchange ensues. After the police arrive at Butler’s Farm, Cain struggles to maintain his cool as he is questioned. Pete begins to panic when the officers announce that a body has been found. Jimmy admits to Chas that he is going to have to sell the house to keep his head above water – but Nicola does not know. Rakesh makes him a derisory offer for Mill Cottage and plots with Kirin to stitch Jimmy up. Pollard finds the DVD that Val recorded but cannot bear to watch it.

It seems too late for the body to have been found in the village hall (about 2 weeks has passed since the helicopter crash) so presumably the body is Ross' in the woods? He wasn't carrying a mobile phone either, it seems, as Emma found this around the village (in his house?). If the body is Ross in the woods, it should be an easy forensic case as Pete was sick over the nearby tree and should have left loads of DNA around, assuming it doesn't all get rained away. C'mon PC Plod Emmerdale, get your doing caps on!

Sadly I think Ross is dead...Bad bad move Emmerdale team! Killing Ross, and then(well hopefully)arresting Pete very soon. So 2 Barton brothers gone. What was the point bringing Emma in? I'm all team Emma now-go girl, go after Cain and Debbie first!

Yes-like said, in real life there shouldn't be any dfficulty finding the killer..But-in ED village..
