I wish Jim McDonald came back..where is he?? I thought he was meant to be sent to an open prison and he promised to come and see Liz&Steve..

I liked Rob but it was a big mistake to make him the murderer, it could have been Tony instead.. Stupid idea these prison scenes..We had it with Peter already. Enough.

Jim got a bit more time after it was discovered he was the "Landlord" in the nick and Peter Barlow nearly died because he found the stash and drank it

Agreed. I like the sound of this storyline. Whether it'll work in practice is another matter of course. And yes, seeing Tracy upset would be enjoyable!

Agreed, it was silly to get rid of him. I wasn't a massive fan of Rob but I did feel he brought out the best in Tracy, so if we're stuck with her for the foreseeable I'd have preferred her to be with him.

Yes Im.sure it would emotionally but I was thinking
more of it bringing back memories of happy times
    inside!!
Reading spoilers -Im wondering if he going to try
the "legal technicality" type of trick that got Tracy
    out??

Perdita is correct. Steve grassed him up so any chance he had of being moved to an open prison was removed at that point also.

No doubt we are only getting these prison scenes because the producer regrets Rob being written into a corner. It just wouldn't have been feasible to get him out like they did Tracy Barlow. To leave at least a little room for manoeuvre, they shouldn't have had the lead pipe twist so that Rob could have had a manslaughter charge.

I do like Rob and I hope it is confined to his sending out visiting orders, not some convoluted thing where Carla suddenly ends up in prison for the fire so that he can be involved in more scenes. That would at least distinguish it from Jim's storyline a little.

Not feasible and not likely/possible are
    same in Soaps.
It does say in spoliers about "his advantage"
    which could mean pratically anything.

Im not saying it should happen- but we have
    had bigger retcons.!
