Tragedy is about to strike the Masoods on EastEnders.

Shabnam Masood and Kush Kazemi will be dealt a devastating blow as their baby is stillborn.

How sad! I'm not sure I'll be able to watch those episodes.

I never wanted Shabnam to have another baby because I felt it interfered with the Jade storyline, but I wouldn't wish stillbirth on even a fictional character.

I would love to see this done well as the last stillbirth (Vivienne Hobbs) was over with quite quickly as it was used to write out an actress that had been sacked. I do fear though that it'll be reduced to a plot device eventually to reunite Shabnam with Jade. I hate the way birth parents can abandon/have their kids adopted and then be called Mum and Dad as if nothing happened.

God, I almost forgot about Ronnie's storyline. I hope this isn't a repeat. I hated that story, and so did the actress, which was why she left EE.

I wonder if this is the same big tragedy they were planning for the Masoods all along, which may mean that Jade won't die after all? I hope so, as I hate watching something with a child's death in it. Not that stillborn is better.

I think it must be. Jade's death was pure speculation on our part before we know of the existence of the new baby.

Perhaps, but then again the Masood story is supposed to be one big tragedy, so maybe it'll be both? The stillborn baby, followed by Jade's death. God I hope not. I know EE has a thing for tragedy, but that seems bit too much for me to handle.

I hope not I would prefer it bring him closer to Shabham who I think will blame herself as she didn't want this baby from the start

I wonder could Shabham perhaps attempt suicide over this and that could be part of the Masood family tragedy also

I hope it brings them closer together as Stacey getting close to Kush when she is pregnant would be another storyline that would do the character no favours. She barely seems to like or have time for Martin, never mind anything else.

If Shabnam attempts suicide, DTC will have hit a new low. It has only been a few months since Kat's attempt and while the episode itself was good, the aftermath (or lack of) was a disgrace. His record for dealing with serious issues properly is abysmal. I could see it happening though, as he has a tendency to take things one twist too far.

I too hope they don't go down the attempted suicide route. I imagine Shabnam is likely see the stillbirth as a punishment from God for abandoning Jade.

The aftermath of Kat's suicide was non-existent. It's terrible that such an emotive issue should be done purely for sensationalism!
