I did know that- it was connected to Ednas husband.
At the time men could be sent to prison for taking
part in homosexual acts. It didnt mean they were
wholly or predominately gay.

But his marriage was afterward -so assumed he was
now or always had been bi- sexual.

no you are right in surprised he now is having a female romance as i thought he was only gay
