No idea lizann, she never struck me as the hardworking type or the kind of person who would stick at something. Maybe she just thought it was a step up from market selling or whatever she was doing and/or still feels bitter towards Bob and wants to make him lose the cafe and possibly Brenda too.

What did Zak do with the couple of grand that he won?
They all know he had it after Pete stole it then it was returned.
Now he says he has no money for treatment for Hamish.

I often wondered if Zak would ever remember the couple of grand that he hid when he had his breakdown, looks like everyone has forgotten that.
