Maybe he is hard of hearing ... because people with hearing difficulties have a tendency to shout to compensate for their own hearing problems

Very true Perdita , I need two hearing aids which tends to make me speak quietly because of an echo back into the ear. Sandy may speak loudly because of working in the theatre ,he also has good clarity with his words.Originally Posted by Perdita
