I hope to "hear" more of Gemma, a few pills won't get rid of Belle's schizophrenia in a couple of weeks .. this will take time and as Gemma is the main part of the story, we need her a bit longer

I agree that there is no quick fix for Belles
mental health issue and it would be
unrealistic to show otherwise.

My concern is that she is being made
part of storylines to which she has no
real connection.It should be possible
to involve Belle ( and therefore Gemma)
in stories where it is realistic ( has a big
family)

I think.otherwise it devalues and trivialises
a storyline that so far been well written
and played.
It is a bit of a general fault of soaps tho
that if there is an interesting storyline
and one that attracts some praise-
they can tend to overdo it in ways that
spoil the original idea.

Belle was getting close to Katy lately, working for her in the stables and it was Katy that called Zak and Lisa when Belle locked herself in the car and Belle understood later that Katy did this for her benefit. I can see a connection to Katy's death now
